This story is about a baby dinosaur becoming a big brother dinosaur and how he gets through the big change.
Albertasaurus is a regular long neck dinosaur. He lives in with his mummy, daddy and other dinosaurs. His best friend is Gwentasurase she is also a long neck Dinosaur. The two of them go on great adventures and get into mischief on a daily basis.
One day Albertasuras wasn’t himself. What’s wrong asked Gwentasuraus? You normally love playing hide and raw. My mum and dad said I’m going to be a big dinosaur and have a baby dinosaur look up to me. Oh said Gwentasuarus, with a sad looking face, does this mean you wont play with me anymore? With a heavy sign Albertasurace replied yes I think so. I don’t want to grow up its know fun being an adult.
Gwentsasurace came up with a plan and suggested they stop his parents from making him grow up and taking on another dinosaur. What is the plan asked Albertasuarace? You need to act like more of a baby then you already do said Gwentasuarace. HEY replied Albertauarce. They both laughed. If you be a baby then they won’t want another one.
Albertasaurace went home that night and started throwing his food about refusing to eat. His parents sent him to his room so Albertasurace trashed his room with leafs, branches and anything he could get hold of. This made a lot of noise. His parents came in. Look at this mess, what has got into you? They told him he couldn’t see Gwentasuarce tomorrow. Albertasurace started to cry.
Whats wrong Albertasurace? Mummy I don’t want to grow up that means back ache, no fun and being sad. Why do you say that Albertasurace? Because that’s what you and daddy are like after a long day. Oh Albertasurace me and your father are very proud parents and growing up doesn’t mean you cant have fun. We have fun with you. Mummy tickles Albertasaurace.
Mummy when will the baby saurace arrive and how? Mummy saurace laughed and said very soon now go to sleep. She gave Albertasurace a big kiss, made sure he was safe and warm then left him to dream.
The next morning Albertasurace was greeted by a baby dinosaur. Albertasurace meet Johnosaurace your baby brother. Albertasurace looked confused and shocked. He came over and started examining him. Johnosaurace was fast asleep so Albertasaurace decided now was time to say hello and wake him up. With big cuddle and kiss Johnosaurace was awaken. Both looked at each other intently.
From that moment on Albertasaurace loved his brother and being a big brother. They were close as ever. They spent there days play fighting, watching Dino films and playing with other dinosaurs.
Albertasurace, Johnosaurace and Gwenasaurace all have great adventures together whilst growing up.

Reality of breastfeeding for me.
Please understand this is my own experience and i am not judging or talking on anyone’s behalf. Im a mother of three, two boys and one girl. I had my first baby at 19 after being told I wouldn’t be able to conceive without help. I had decided from the start that i wanted to try breastfeeding. Once Albie was born i tried breastfeeding but at the hospital wasn’t any help when it came to how to breastfeed so i presumed i was doing it correctly. I was home the day after giving birth. The midwifes came round to see me for the routine visit, when asked how is breastfeeding i replied with it hurts. The midwife explained it shouldn’t hurt and latching on should be a strong tugging feeling not painful. She watched me attempt to latch Ablie on to the breast and she explained Albie was only sucking my nipple which it why it was causing pain. The midwife then showed me some breastfeeding techniques and positions too make sure he was latched on properly. After a couple of days my milk came it and it hurt A LOT. My boobs were swollen and heavy. Albie couldn’t latch on because of this so i had to use the breast pump. Nobody warned me of my milk coming in and what to expect. Unfortunately things got worse over the week and i started passing clots and blood. Albie was sick blood and i was expressing blood. I ended up back in hospital with an infection on IV antibiotics and told this was due to having Albie and having mastitis. I was so upset and felt like i had let my son down. I’m not ashamed to admit it i ended up with post natal depression but that is another story to tell. I gave up breastfeeding which wasn’t pleasant. I found using breast pads from the freezer helped sooth the pain and hot flannels. It was also recommended that i try cabbage leafs, that also helps its not and old wives tale.

Clinging to Childhood
The playground is empty, as it should be past sundown. There is a warm breeze, and I can see everything despite the late hour. What time is it, anyway? It could very well be past midnight. I can never keep track of time, especially in the summer. A prickly piece of popcorn hides like a stowaway in the left cup of my padded training bra. I stuffed the tissue in last minute— a decision I’m beginning to regret, based on the events that are unfolding rapidly before me. To my left, laying non-chalantly on his back, is my date for the evening. He is two years older, could probably grow facial hair if he wanted to, and drives a secondhand Honda. He may as well be a Man. I, on the other hand, feel like a fraud with my too-short short-shorts, sparkly lip gloss, and makeshift push-up bra. I keep my arms pinned to my sides as I feel the dreaded circles of sweat beginning to manifest on my brand new Abercrombie top. I cup my elbows with my hands and stare down at my hint of cleavage, praying that the tissue doesn’t pop out like a white flag surrendouring my lack of womanhood.
