I've just published my new book on Amazon, and I believe it will be a great tool for parents who want to understand how they can prepare their kids for the future job market through ethical and conscious technology awareness.

Covering the basics of A.I., Robotics, and Coding, the book will give parents an up-to-date overview of how these technologies impact their children’s skills development and how they can be prepared for the job market in the future.

It will also help build parents’ confidence when facing the digital era’s ethical challenges and navigate potential pitfalls.

Today I have selected seven interesting quotes that my early-readers have particularly highlighted that caught their interest while reading the book. Have a look:

Quote #1 — About the future of the digital technology

“One of the benefits of introducing technological devices into our children’s lives is that it will stimulate their minds to be more alert and developed than usual, parallel to their psychosocial growth.”

Quote #2 — About Ethics and Technology

“Teaching our children and teenagers how to use modern technology more consciously is the only way to ensure they know how to interact ethically with it.”

Quote #3 — About the role of parents in this digital revolution

“As parents, we are called to assume an ethical stand on providing our children with the ability to filter the knowledge of the world they live, to moderate the information they need, to formulate spontaneous and reflexive responses, and to understand the value of technology, critically examining their conclusions.”

Quote #4 — About children and robots

“When robotics is applied in children’s lives, at home, and in school, it can also inspire collaboration. Other skills that we can expect to develop through studying robotics are also focused on persistence and resilience.”

Quote #5 — About learning to code

“Once they start understanding the basics of programming, children will use their logical thinking to build the codes. The learning of foreign languages for children is excellent for exercising the analytical, critical, and analytic abilities analytics left side of the brain. And the same effects can be associated with programming languages.”

Quote #6 — About the other side of the story

“It is not possible to deny that together with the enormous number of positive effects of introducing digital technology in our children’s lives, it also comes with a significant number of challenges, which are reflected in all the environments in which digital technology is present, especially at home and at school, which may also pose relevant risks to individual and collective health.”

Quote #7 — About keeping technology under control

“To ensure that we as parents and educators can address any adverse scenario, keeping control of the situation and making children’s contact with technology a positive experience, it is necessary to lay down clear rules and arrangements that balance digital activities with the real-life environment.”

Overview

These quotes are some exciting parts of my new book: “Introduction to A.I., Robotics and Coding (for parents),” They can give you an engaging overview of essential concepts that I approach in the book that aim to support parents and educators in preparing themselves for the new education and relationship challenges that the growing impact of A.I., Robotics, and Coding are having and will have in our children’s lives and also on the future job market.
