Fatherhood is a journey filled with moments of joy, challenges, and profound love and at ConceiveAbilities, we are privileged to help hopeful men fulfill their dreams of becoming a dad.
This Father’s Day we are paying special tribute to all men who are nurturing their children, especially our dedicated dads on ConceiveAbilities’ staff who enrich not only their family’s lives, but those of our intended parents and surrogates as they build their own families.
These remarkable men exemplify the essence of fatherhood. Join us as we shine a spotlight on the dads of ConceiveAbilities who have earned the cherished title: Dad.
Pete DiRenzo, Chief Technology Officer and Dad of Two
Pete and his college sweetheart Liz have been married for over 28 years, after meeting their sophomore year of college. They settled in Sleepy Hollow, NY to raise their family. Pete is the proud dad of two amazing daughters: Isabella (22), who recently graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a BA in Photography and Olivia (20) who just completed her sophomore year at Boston College, currently focusing on a degree in Environmental Studies & Science.

John Wheatley, Dad of Three
John and his wife Vian recently celebrated their 20-year wedding anniversary. They live in the Dayton, Ohio area and have three children: Daughter Yannis (25) who is currently completing her MBA and their sons Jaeden (17) who is attending University of Cincinnati in the fall and Josh (14) who is a freshman in high school.

Wes Cameron, Web Support Analyst and Dad of Two
Being a father to daughter Madison (19) and son Knox (8) brings Wes indescribable joy. Madison has just finished her freshman year at Arkansas Tech University, pursuing Graphic Design. Her talent shines through her diverse creations, particularly her love for crafting comics. Meanwhile, Knox, fresh from second grade, exudes a passion for math and science, soon to embark on a journey at a specialized Mathematics and Science school. He’s affectionately dubbed Wes’s “Math and Science Nerd.”

Jared Goldstein, Dad of Three
Jared says he hit the lottery when it comes to family. He and his high school sweetheart, Monica, live in Greenwich, Connecticut with their three amazing children: Two sons Colby (20) and Chase (17) and daughter Julia (13). He prides himself on being a great dad and creating a genuinely close knit, supportive and affectionate family.
We asked these four fathers three important questions about being a dad.
What does being a father mean to you?
PD: Being a father means being a pillar of support, a mentor, and a source of unconditional love for my children.
JW: Being a father means learning to listen and realizing you don’t always have to have the answers. More importantly, it’s about supporting your family in whatever way they need, balancing the roles of the good guy and the protective father.
WC: Parenting, to me, means embodying a nurturing spirit and demonstrating love and care unconditionally. I stand by my children through thick and thin, a steadfast presence in their lives.
JG: Being a father is the most important role I have ever had. I take immense pride in shaping my children to be great human beings. I could not be any prouder of the type of people they have become.
What is your favorite parenting advice you have received?
PD: I was raised by a single parent and watching my mom do both parenting jobs always amazed me. I learned from her by putting love first, which is never the wrong idea.
JW: No matter how right your answers are, don’t give them. Help the kids figure it out on their own. Or better yet, have their friend tell them so they’ll listen.
WC: Adjust your expectations to meet each child’s unique needs. Embracing who they are, rather than who I envision them to be, enriches our journey together. Most importantly, have fun!
JG: Prepare your child for the path, not the path for the child.
What message do you have for dads?
PD: Embrace the journey ahead with open arms, knowing that being a dad is one of life’s greatest blessings.
JW: It’s not easy. Sometimes being a father can be a huge weight on your shoulders, dealing with emotional and financial stress and feeling that you are never right. But, at the end of it all, if you have done your job right, they will always come back and appreciate you in ways you never thought possible.
WC: Parenthood, especially fatherhood, stands as my proudest accomplishment. I wish for every aspiring parent to experience the boundless joy amidst the inevitable challenges parenthood brings.
JG: The days are long but the years are short. Enjoy them!
Wishing the best Father’s Day to our dads of ConceiveAbilities, Pete, John, Wes, and Jared, along with all the wonderful dads who shape their children’s lives.
