'Sister Wives' Star Garrison Brown Dead at 25, Janelle Brown Speaks Out

Garrison Brown, the son of Sister Wives stars Janelle and Kody Brown, has tragically passed away at the age of 25. Janelle announced the heartbreaking news on Instagram, expressing deep sadness and asking for privacy to honor Garrison's memory. Flagstaff Police Department's Lieutenant Charles M. Hernandez II confirmed the incident, stating that officers responded to a report of a death at home on March 5, 2024. He emphasized that there is currently no indication of foul play, and the Criminal Investigations Division is conducting an investigation.

TLC, the network airing Sister Wives, also issued a statement conveying their devastation and offering condolences to the Brown family during this difficult time. Garrison had been a part of the show since its inception, which follows the polygamist family dynamics of Kody Brown, his wives (Robyn, Meri, Janelle, and Christine), and their 18 children. The family has moved across several locations, including Lehi, Utah, Las Vegas, and Flagstaff, Arizona.

Janelle and Kody's son had recently shared on social media about adopting a cat just five days before his passing. In a 2023 episode of Sister Wives, Kody opened up about difficulties in his relationships with his sons, expressing hope for reconciliation and a return to positive connections. Janelle also acknowledged the challenges, emphasizing the importance of peace in family relationships, even if full reconciliation isn't possible. The couple had announced their separation in December 2022.

The circumstances surrounding Garrison's death remain under investigation, and the family, as well as the Sister Wives community, is mourning the loss of a beloved member.

In 1993, Janelle and Kody entered into a spiritual union and welcomed six children into their family: Madison, Logan, Garrison, Gabriel, Hunter, and Savannah. However, by December 2022, Janelle made the heartbreaking announcement of their separation.

The fracture in Kody's relationship with his children became evident over the years, leading to a strained connection. Janelle, in a confessional interview, expressed her concerns about the impact on her sons' mental well-being. Gabriel, known for his deep sensitivity, kept his emotions hidden, while Garrison seemed to display a noticeable shift towards anger and sadness.

In a candid revelation during an episode aired in May 2023, Kody acknowledged the growing rift between him and his children. He expressed his optimism that, with time, they could overcome the difficulties and rebuild their bond.

Garrison received accolades from his mother for his adept carpentry abilities, a cherished family talent evident in his meticulous restoration of a classic camping trailer and the crafting of a personalized table designed specifically for her.

The family discord between Kody and his children from Janelle became a focal point in the 18th season of the show, premiering last autumn.

In an episode, Garrison Brown expressed, "Despite our attempts to foster openness, we have consistently felt disregarded and dismissed for alleged transgressions that never actually occurred."

Garrison, at the young age of 17, joined the Nevada Army National Guard in 2015 and pursued his education at the College of Southern Nevada. In 2019, he ventured into entrepreneurship by launching an online Hawaiian shirts business named Bob's Floral. Unfortunately, the business faced challenges and had to close its doors due to the pandemic.

As of now, the 24-year-old resides in Flagstaff, Arizona, alongside his two feline companions. According to reports from The Sun, Garrison's home is conveniently located in Flagstaff, just a short 20-minute drive from his father's residence. Alongside his commitment to the Army National Guard, Garrison is also making strides in the fashion industry as the proud owner of the clothing line Bob's Floral. Despite the setbacks faced by his business, Garrison continues to navigate various pursuits, showcasing his resilience and versatility in both military service and entrepreneurship.
