I know it’s easier said than done, but honestly, the more you compare yourself to others, the more you dim your unique light as a creator.

Instead of dimming your light, illuminate your content creator path with your individuality.

I watch Tam Kaur on YouTube; she’s a personal development creator and vlogger, and boy, oh boy! Tam sits in her brilliance in such an admirable and authentic way.

She grew her YouTube page super fast and gained more than 100,000 subscribers in three months.

How did she do this?

I’m fully locked into this idea of fearless content creation. As a fearless creator, your goal is to create from the soul. Forget about comparison, be yourself, and create without focusing on other people’s opinions.

Yes, you’ll feel scared and self-conscious, but instead of shying away from it, lean into it.

Step into it, create with sweaty palms and a pounding heart. Go ahead, create. Go ahead and step outside of your comfort zone.

Tam is the perfect example of a fearless content creator. She vlogs in the streets, train stations, and restaurants. She takes herself on solo dates and exudes this beautiful goddess energy; she’s awe-inspiring, but do I compare myself to Tam? No, we come from different worlds. She’s her, and I’m me.

I take inspiration from the content she creates, but I don’t compare myself to Tam or any other content creator

I’m still learning to step outside my comfort zone as a video creator, but I’ve fully stepped into my fearless creator era as a blogger and content writer.

I’ll write how I feel without thinking too much about other people’s opinions. For example, I most recently started posting on my Abena Talks Life page on Medium where I’ve poured my heart out about topics that would usually scare the crap out of me.
