The Secret to My Professional Growth: Keya Seth College of Beauty
My Beauty Education Experience: Keya Seth College Review

Every human being reaches a point in their life where something makes a click. In my case, they called that moment Keya Seth College of Beauty.
Self-Doubt to Self-Styled
I did not know in childhood that I wanted to work in the beauty industry. Actually, I was at one point not even very confident in myself. I was the timid girl in the back row, who loved the fashion of others but was too scared to apply eyeliner.
Yet, the odd thing about fear is that it can be molded. In the same way that a sculptor shapes marble, good mentors could chip away at uncertainty to reveal confidence.
And this is how it was the moment I entered the doors of Keya Seth College of beauty.
A Spot Where It Seems Like Opportunity
My initial observation had nothing to do with the bling walls or the quality equipment- although by all means, the college is what it would look like as a set in a luxury beauty salon. It was the atmosphere.
Energy was humming in the air. The ambition was everywhere to be felt: students stood around practice mannequins, instructors swept through rooms looking like fashion week directors.
And myself--why, then there was I--timid, round-eyed, and willing to be changed.
The Curriculum-Where Style Meets Science
Prior to joining, I thought that beauty training was all about eyeshadow palettes and flawless buns. And this curriculum? It was a syllabus as tough as any syllabus in engineering I had ever seen, but much more fun than that.
The courses that changed me
- Well-developed Skincare Skills: I have developed skin knowledge in and out. The serums and the PH levels, the treatment, I learned everything.
- Makeup: Applying editorials and elementary level makeup changes.
- Hair Design and Chemical Treatments: We did more than style; we examined the science behind it all.
- Trichology, Cosmetology: Yes, we actually studied hair and skin chemistry. Think microscopes and not makeup mirrors.
- Stylist Business Management: Talent is nothing when you lack bookings, branding and balance sheets.
Both classes left me feeling smarter, more powerful, and capable of facing the rest of the world as not only an artist, but also as a competent professional.
Mentorship: The Actual Game-Changer
The teaching staff at Keya Seth College is not there to mind your aspirations: they are there to make them.
It was a masterclass every time we hooked up with him Not only did instructors teach techniques, but the people of the industry--their success and failures, how to survive within it with skill and style.
One of my teachers, Mrs. Karuna once told me:
You do not just put on makeup onto your skin. Ye apply brawd fure.”
The line remained in my mind. In this world, being pretty is not about being good. It is the art of being present bravely, competently, and with style.
My Lab of Dreams: The Practice Rooms
The college does not believe in mere theoretical knowledge. We were in luxurious labs, technologically advanced beauty clinics, and fulltime salon services. It had actual clients, actual feedback, and actual pressure.
The Lesson:
- Hands-on confidence
- Professional ethics
- Going fast and staying accurate against deadlines
- Communication and Teambuilding
- A glimpse of what the real beauty industry is like
And the moment when the first client smiled wide, finally, in her reflection at the very end of the makeover--I knew this was exactly my job.
Career Launchpad A Window On Dreams
When I left school, I was not the same student any more. I was a makeup artist on gigs, a skincare consultant, and later, a co-owner of a salon. And it is all because of the direction, the internships and the networking offered at Keya Seth College of Beauty.
Post-Graduation Highlights:
- Did bridal and runway events
- Commissioned photographers to do editorial shoots
- In the wedding season, I began a personal beauty business based on my mobile service
- Training junior artists of my own these days
- None of this would have been possible without the groundwork I received at Keya Seth. No way.
- Thoughts on Concluding: The Trip that was worth every step!
When folks inquire me what my secret of growth is, how I got confused and became unstoppable, I say it began here.
It is at a place, where ambition is fed, where beauty is unraveled and re-conceived, and where students do not dream: they do.
Then when you are out wondering which step to take to use in the beauty industry, keep it simple, take it at face value:
