Creation of The Universe

Get ready to secure your seat for the grandest clash in the imminent creation of the universe. Yes, you guessed it right—the Big Bang is about to unfold!

Introducing gravity, the mighty force that unites all matter, its influence extends to every mass, boundless and unbroken. Let us applaud the eternal reach of gravity's domain! Now, stepping into the ring is pressure, a formidable contender that repels matter with awe-inspiring might. When faced with challenges, this warrior only grows stronger. Ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it for the indomitable force of pressure! In the cosmic arena, a titanic clash unfolds, as gravity and pressure engage in an epochal struggle. Spanning countless millennia, their battle determines the very destiny of the universe we behold. Behold, spectators, for this momentous showdown unleashes ripples that sculpt our cosmic tapestry. The profound stakes of this epic encounter unfold, as the echoes of the Big Bang reverberate resoundingly. Let's take a closer look to witness the detailed play-by-play unfold before us.

This extraordinary event has introduced three integral components to our fledgling universe. Dark matter, an entity that solely interacts through the force of gravity, is one of the three fundamental components that have emerged within our nascent universe. Baryonic matter, the substance comprising all the matter you have ever encountered, is influenced by both gravitational forces and pressure within our universe. In addition, there is radiation consisting of countless particles of light, commonly referred to as photons, within this cosmic ensemble.

During the immediate aftermath of the Big Bang, a state of equilibrium prevails among these three components, ensuring that no particular region exhibits greater density than another. However, as the universe commences its expansion, variations in density gradually manifest. Gravity promptly initiates its task of drawing matter towards each other. Dark matter, in response, begins to amass at the core of these progressively denser regions, laying the groundwork for the formation of forthcoming galaxies. Simultaneously, pressure gradually gathers strength.

Within this intensely hot and energetic milieu, protons and electrons are unable to combine and form atoms. Consequently, these unbound particles zip around, interacting freely with the surrounding photons. The outcome is an almost fluid-like state consisting of baryonic matter and radiation. However, as the baryonic particles draw closer to each other, the fluid grows hotter, causing photons to vigorously bounce around with tremendous force. This remarkable phenomenon is the result of the influential power of pressure, specifically radiation pressure, engaged in a battle to counteract gravitational forces and push matter apart.

With every relentless pull of gravity, compressing photons and matter closer together, pressure retaliates with a formidable thrust. As these two titans engage in an intense struggle, they propel this fluid back and forth, generating colossal undulations known as baryonic acoustic oscillations. Traversing vast cosmic distances at a staggering velocity, these colossal Baryon Acoustic Oscillations (BAOs) surge onward, their influence stretching across the vast expanse of the universe. On this grandest of scales, they shape the celestial terrain. In this enduring cosmic bout, underway for nearly 14 billion years, Galaxies now tend to thrive atop these monumental crests, while the abyss of empty space finds solace within their troughs. But the tale does not end there, for more wonders await.

Behold the remnants of this momentous clash, etched into the very fabric of the universe's background radiation, a lasting testament to the magnitude of this epic confrontation. However, after a prolonged deadlock lasting approximately 370,000 years, the tide of our conflict finally starts to shift. Over this extensive duration, the intense heat from the Big Bang gradually dissipates, resulting in a considerable cooling of the universe. As a consequence, the temperature reaches a point where unbound electrons begin to pair up with protons. This pivotal phase, known as the "era of recombination," effectively curtails the erratic movements of electrons. Consequently, light can now traverse unhindered, illuminating the vast expanse of the universe. These photons, interacting with neutral atoms, now exert only a minute force, gradually diminishing the dominance of pressure.

And now, it is time to declare our ultimate champion! It is none other than the undefeated force, the most pervasive power in the universe: gravity! However, let us not assume that this rivalry has reached its conclusion. A similar battle wages on between these two sworn enemies even today, within the heart of every single star. As gravity exerts its pull, drawing the star's gaseous matter inward, pressure intensifies and resolutely pushes the matter outward. This delicate equilibrium of push and pull maintains the stability of the Sun, as well as all other stars, over the course of billions of years. In fact, it is this clash of the titans that prevents Earth's atmosphere from collapsing onto the ground. Therefore, while their most prominent encounter may have come to an end, these two warriors remain engaged in an unending struggle—even as a new challenger approaches on the horizon.
