The only 2 recipes you will need!

Ingredients:
For the cake:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1½ teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
½ cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water
For the frosting:
1½ cups unsalted butter, softened
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
5 cups powdered sugar
½ cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well to combine.
Add the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes until well combined.
Reduce the speed to low and carefully add the boiling water to the batter. Mix until the batter is smooth. The batter will be thin, but that's normal.
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean.
Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool in the pans for about 10 minutes. Then transfer the cakes to a wire rack to cool completely.
While the cakes are cooling, prepare the frosting. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and cocoa powder until well combined and smooth.
Gradually add the powdered sugar, alternating with the milk, in batches. Mix well after each addition. Finally, add the vanilla extract and beat until the frosting is light and fluffy.
Once the cakes are completely cooled, place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread a generous amount of frosting on top. Place the second cake layer on top and frost the top and sides of the cake with the remaining frosting.
You can decorate the cake with chocolate shavings, sprinkles, or any other desired toppings. Refrigerate the cake for about 30 minutes to allow the frosting to set.
Slice and serve the cake, and enjoy!
This recipe should give you a moist and decadent chocolate cake that is sure to be a hit.
Now for the cookies!
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. The centers may still appear slightly soft, but they will firm up as the cookies cool.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the cookies cool on the sheet for 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Repeat the baking process with the remaining cookie dough until it is all used.
Once cooled, serve and enjoy your delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies!
These cookies should have a crispy edge and a soft, chewy center with lots of gooey chocolate chips. Feel free to adjust the recipe by adding nuts, shredded coconut, or other mix-ins to make them your own. Happy baking!
