Strongest Air forces

It is true????

By Zayn Published 2 years ago 3 min read

This is a list of the strongest air forces in the world. I have based my rankings on the most recent lists published by reputable sources and organizations such as flightglobal.com, airwaysmagazine.com and airforceratings.com, while taking into consideration each country's historic battles and overall capabilities in order to best identify where each nation stands among its peers.

United States Air Force

The United States Air Force is the aerial warfare service branch of the United States Armed Forces. It is one of the most important components of the military. The USAF was established in 1947 as a separate military service responsible for the air component of U.S. national power during peacetime, and when needed during wartime. Today, it is an independent service within the Department of Defense (DoD) that provides aerial refueling, and pathfinder, ballistic missile warning and space surveillance in defense of the nation.

The USAF's primary mission is to defend the United States with combat-ready forces while also maintaining a strong global presence and leading in air power development and doctrine, in order to prevent armed attack, safeguard U.S. interests, promote international peace and stability, deter war through non-military means and promote world order with other nations.

The United States Air Force (USAF) will be equipped with 2,450 aircrafts by 2014.[Footnote 2] The US military plans to purchase over 518 planes from Lockheed Martin Corp., including F-22 stealth fighter jets; F-35 stealth fighters; C-130 transport planes; A-10 attack jets; B-2 bombers; KC-10 aerial refuel

Japan Air Self-Defense Force

Japan Air Self-Defense Force

The Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF), or simply Air Force (AF), is the branch of the Japan Self-Defense Forces that controls the country's air space and conducts aerial warfare. The JASDF was founded on 1 April 1954 as an independent air force, replacing its predecessor, the Imperial Japanese Army Air Service and the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service. As a dual-organization, it is one of the three components of the SDF, along with the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and Maritime Self-Defense Force.

The USAF has been trying to recruit pilots from JASDF for more than 20 years. In 1994, the USAF signed an agreement with Japan to exchange personnel between the two countries' air forces. As of 2014, there are about 50 US airmen employed by JASDF on temporary duty at Misawa AB in northern Japan and Yokota AB in western Tokyo.

Indian Air Force

The Indian Air Force is the air wing of the Indian armed forces. It was established in 1932 as an independent service, but has been a part of India's military establishment since 1947. The IAF consists of over 40,000 personnel and is supported by several hundred aircraft and it has been an integral part of India's defence forces.

The Indian Air Force is responsible for providing air power during peace and war, aerial surveillance operation and strategic reconnaissance operations. The IAF's primary responsibility is to provide close air support for the army during offensive operations. The IAF also provides reconnaissance information to the army so that it can be used in its planning.

In recent years, there have been several developments in aviation technology that have helped improve its capabilities:

Electronic warfare systems have been developed to counter enemy radar systems, which are widely used by many countries. The Indian Air Force also uses laser beams in addition to its radar systems to guide missiles towards their targets.

The IAF has also developed newer aircraft such as the Rafale fighter jet which can carry more weapons than earlier versions and has better performance characteristics than previous models.
