Mr. Physics

Mentor for you and me

Mentors Galore

At the time he must have been somewhat 26. A teacher of high school physics. Assuredly happily married to another young 20 something lass, with desires for the basics, as he.

Mr. Physics was a nice chap, he allowed the young men to grow some facial hair, as it was mostly frowned upon. He would bring in wacky/crazy films to view. Pretty sure the moment I realized this life might be a game was watching the original Tron on VHS in his classroom. He referred to it as The Matrix before The Matrix. How unique being a teacher must be. You could be knee deep in the marshes of your own journey through life but still find ways to nudge others down paths unsearched. That’s probably shades of the big G isn’t it? A fun way to imagine it would be a Tree - from the bottom of the world reaching all the way up to the tops of her; where we as individuals are the branches of that world tree. I suspect the branches who’ve grown further out have simblances of wisdom too. I predict they have smaller branches who admire or literally look up to the more developed branches. And those long branches may not ever be ready to help another, but that’s the game. With how complex this works tree is and will be, a mentor probably was at the beginning to teach paths - branches.

But more to the point.

Such an interesting time at his age to be a leader among teens. I mostly hate the idea of being looked up to by the young people scene. How in the hell do I know for sure where I’m going on to or where in the hell to begin into?

That’s it isn’t it? The role of Father and Son we must all accept. The larger tree having protocol built in to make sure all who can grow, grow. Who’s ever prepared to be a pinnacle for someone else anyway? Preparedness is the program. So for me to be stuck on the why isn’t faith.

You could argue if that’s even correct to follow someone else. But, whether that’s true or untrue, a leader - a mentor - must always be ready for divinity’s asking price. To have faith your path is worth following. The rest typically manifests.

Further to the point of the tale.

To deliver your probable rookie knowledge for kids is one thing, but to do it for the high school age group is another. You can’t fane and pretend. You can’t speak to children as if they be children. They look up to you but will never say it. They need a muse but don’t know it. The high school tots no longer really have their parents, as most parents stopped being the role of model few years back. This isn’t necessarily due to neglect or uncare. It’s quite possibly the journey we all must take - to all parties - isn’t fair. Being the man isn’t always beating the man. Love for growth in others is the destruction of the ego.

I think somewhere along the line, Mr. Physics decided upon a life most close to source. Now, what he didn’t know is it would cause someone like me to do the same.

Lastly to the point.

I mostly muddy rather than clear the waters when writing, but using this platform to identify my own branches is a huge help. And, I owe it to people who removed themselves from their own busy minds to help others calm into existence.

3:33 in the morning many years past, and I remember a Mr. Elliott with knowledge of high school physics richly vast.
