It is said that "Hallaj put his two cut bloodied arms on his face and his face started burning with blood when he was askedWhy are you doing this, they said, a lot of blood has flowed from my body, due to which my face must have turned yellow. Then people asked why did you make your face red, but why did you stain your wrists with blood? He replied that it was for ablution. Ishq is a prayer of two rak'ahs, which is ablution only with blood.


When Mansoor's hands, feet, arms were cut off and his eyes were gouged out, the executioner extended his hand to cut his tongue, then Mansoor said, "Wait, let me say one thing." Do not deprive them of what they have allowed me for you. I am coming to see you, now the executioner raised his hand to cut off his head at the request of Hamid, while Hallaj uttered these words, "It is enough for Wajid to become one with you."I am coming to see you.'' Hallaj's severed head fell down, his body was doused with oil, and then the burnt ashes were thrown from a minaret into the Tigris River.



Allama Hazrat Zakaria Qazwini writes, "When they were about to take him to be hanged, he called a Hajib and said that when I am burned, the waters of the Tigris will begin to rise and it will be close to drowning Baghdad." If you see this scene, put my ashes in the water so that the water becomes still. When they were hanged and burned, there was a flood in the Tigris until there was a danger that Baghdad would be drowned, so the Caliph said, "Do you know that Mansoor Hallaj said something about this?"Hajib said yes, Ameerul Momineen, he said so, then he ordered to do as he said, then he threw the ashes into the water. Those ashes gathered on the surface of the water in such a way that Allah was seen written on it and the water became still.



This is about 309 AH. Just before his death, Mansoor Hallaj said the last thing: "O Lord, if you had shown these people what I see, they would never have punished me, and if you had hidden from me what you have hidden from them." So I would never raise the slogan of Anna-ul-Haq. O Allah, forgive my murderers.
