How to Build a £15,000 per Month SMMA in 60 Days: A Step-by-Step Guide Introduction: In this video, I'm going to give you the blueprint to build a £15,000 per month SMMA (Social Media Marketing Agency) in just 60 days. We'll dive into the mathematics behind achieving these numbers and how to choose the right niche and target market. Additionally, we'll cover delivering your services to clients effectively and acquiring new clients. Let's start with Part One: Setting the Goal. Setting the Goal: This guide will focus on how to reach £15,000 per month, but keep in mind that you can set any financial goal you desire. If you're following this blueprint, aiming for £15,000 per month, charging £1,500 per client, you'll need 10 clients. Depending on the type of service and clients you work with, you can charge anywhere from £1,500 to £2,500 per month. If you charge £2,500 per month, you'll only need six clients. Choosing Your Niche and Service: When selecting your niche or industry, there is no perfect choice. The ideal niche is one you can operate in for a long time. Avoid falling into the trap of choosing a niche that can't be scaled. While your current goal may be £15,000 per month, once you achieve it, you'll likely want more. So, you don't want to be stuck with a service that can't be scaled. To illustrate this point, let me share an example. Recently, a scriptwriting agency approached me, offering to rewrite my scripts to improve video watch time. They charged £300 per script on a £3,000 per month retainer for 10 scripts. However, this approach had several flaws. Flaws in Unscalable Services: Firstly, for a service to be worth £300 per script, it must be exceptional, backed by past results, testimonials, and a track record of delivering. Secondly, their approach required me to pay someone else to write the script before paying them to make minimal changes. This process was inefficient and costly. Moreover, their service was not scalable. Each video is unique, covering different topics. If they customized every script for each client, their capacity would be limited. Let's do some quick calculations. If they spent an entire day writing one script, that's already 10 days out of a month. Taking on two more clients fills their month, leaving no room for growth. They would be stuck at £9,000 per month. Training someone else to provide the service would be challenging, given the unique nature of each script. Even if they managed to train someone, it wouldn't be cost-effective. Packaging Your Service for Success: To avoid being commoditized and undercut by competition, you must differentiate your service and offer high-impact results. For instance, instead of offering generic video editing services, focus on delivering specific outcomes such as increasing subscribers, engagement, or views. By offering a unique value proposition, you stand out and provide measurable returns for clients. Scaling Your Services: To deliver your services, you have two options. The first is doing it yourself, utilizing free resources like YouTube or investing in courses. The second option is hiring freelancers. I recommend the latter for scalability. After closing a client and receiving payment, you can hire freelancers to fulfill the services while you focus on managing the agency. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): If you choose to hire freelancers, create standard operating procedures (SOPs) by recording yourself performing each step of the services.
