How to get the best resources for learning new things?

Everyone wants to learn new things or skills they are actually interested in. To learn everyone needs a resource. The resource can be an instructor, books, websites, notes, courses from websites, blogs, tutorials from youtube, and many others.

As the internet can contain tons of resources for learning a single skill, it's really important to choose the relevant one and the best one.

So before starting with a random resource you should invest some time to choose a good one.

Why choosing the right resources to learn is important?

If you do not invest time in investigating the resources you might select resources that are not relevant for beginners like you or it may not the right one for you. All these may lead to a little gain of knowledge or make the things or skill look tougher and this might end up with losing all interest of yours in that subject.

Investing some time to find good resources and sticking it to last is a lot better than investing time in the wrong and not sticking it till last OR investing full time in something wrong and ending up with little learning or losing interest.

So you can search here by asking for instance "Which is the best way to learn CPP programming ?" or "Which is the best book to learn CPP programming?" and A lot of answers from different professionals will pop up. As a lot of answers are available there you may get confused, which answer or suggestion should be followed.

To remove this confusion just check out the following points

- who has answered it?

- Is his/her profession is related to the subject he is speaking/answering about?

- His/Her experience in the relative field.

- Upvotes/likes given for the answer by different readers.

YOUTUBE :-

on youtube, a lot of tutorial videos, regarding the skill are available which are enough to confuse you for selection. To avoid this confusion you can follow some of the below steps to make selection easier.

- A huge number of subscribers, viewers, and likes is a sign of good resources.

To check the quality of course you can check the number of enrolled students or people for it.

A High number of enrollments denotes a good quality course.

Also, spend some time to know about the author or instructor who is teaching the course.

To know the quality of the resource, go by the list and spend some time checking by individually and spending some time on each one definitely give you some idea about its quality.

Just remember choosing the wrong or bad quality resource can lead to waste of time and little gain of knowledge while good quality resource makes learning enjoyable, understandable, and ends up with a lot of learning and knowledge.
