Islam is a religion that promotes peace, unity, and equality. It comes from the Arabic language and means "Peace," "Security," and "Surrender." Muslims are people who follow the religion of Islam. Muslim means "one who gives up his or her life peacefully to God." Muslim doesn't mean anything about a certain race. Anyone of any race, caste, colour, or region can be a Muslim. Because of this, Islam means submitting to God, because our Lord doesn't care what colour, caste, or region someone is from. A Muslim is someone who gives their lives over to God. Islam is the only religion that has a complete set of rules for all aspects of life, including morality, spirituality, economics, politics, society, intellect, etc. Islam is the second largest religion in the world. It has more than 1.5 billion followers, which is about a fifth of the world's people. About one in five people around us are Muslim. So, we can say that it is a religion or faith that is practised all over the world and not just by people of one colour, nation, or race. The Number of Muslims are increasing Day by and many people from other religions are also converting to Islam. That’s why 7 mega projects in Saudi Arab are launched by the Saudi Governemnt.

Islam is not a narrow or conservative religion, but it is the only one that gives every person the same rights. It is also the first religion to recognise the rights of women. Europe has made a lot of progress in all areas of life, but many of us didn't know that the Renaissance progress was based on ideas that came from Muslims. A lot of people join Islam every year, making it the religion with the fastest growth rate in the world. Arabia is where the religion of Islam began. Over time, it spread out of Arabia, and now 80% of all Muslims live in places other than the Arab world.

The Quran, which is the holy book of Muslims, is the book that has been written about the most. Thousands of books have been written to explain its many amazing things. People say that the Holy Quran is like a huge ocean of knowledge about everything in life. Scholars and thinkers look to it for the most advanced wisdom, philosophy of life, and rules for how to live a perfect life. It is the only book in the world that hasn't been changed or messed with since it was given to people. Even though it was given to people 1400 years ago, it's still the same as it was on the first day. God is called 99 different names or things in the Holy Quran. Some of these names are The First, The Last, The Provider, The Merciful, The All-Knowing, The Hidden, The Source of Peace, The Near, etc. It is also the book that people remember the most. Muslims from different parts of the world don't speak Arabic because it's not their first language, but they've learned the whole Quran by heart. Even kids as young as 4 or 5 know the Quran by heart. The Holy Quran only talks about 25 prophets by name. But Allah Almighty sends about 124,000 prophets to different nations and tribes over the course of history. The Muslim holy book, the Quran, was not written by Muhammad PBUH. Instead, it was written by Allah Almighty and given to Muhammad PBUH as a revelation. The Quran is written down by the people who were with the Holy Prophet SAWW. One-third of the Holy Quran talks about prophets and important people from the past, such as Ibrahim, Moses, Mary, Jesus, and others. Many of the things that the Quran says will happen have already happened. For example, the Quran says that the Romans will beat the Persians in a future battle, and this happened just a few years after this verse was written.

Islam produces a lot of scholars, doctors, mathematicians, encomiasts, chemists, biologists, and botanists, and it makes progress in almost every field. Spain was ruled by Muslims for more than 600 years, and during that time, they brought peace and stability to the country. Some of the most beautiful mosques and buildings, like the Alhambra Palace, can be found in Islamic Spain.

After Muhammad PBUH got the message, he went to his wife Khadijah RA. She was the first person to convert to Islam. Some of the best and most respected women in Islam were Hazrat Khadija RA, the wife of the Holy Prophet PBUH, Fatima RA, the daughter of the Holy Prophet SAWW, the wife of Pharaoh Asiya, Mariam or Mary, the mother of Jesus PBUH. God SWT says in the Holy Quran that Mary is the best woman:

"And when the angels said, 'Mary, Allah SWT has chosen you, cleansed you, and chosen you above all the women of the worlds,'"

Islam is a religion based on five pillars, and those who follow it must also believe in all of them. These pillars show how important it is to have faith, pray, give to others, fast, and go on a pilgrimage to Holy Makkah. Islam is beautiful because it teaches us to be kind to everyone, including our neighbours, animals, Muslims, and people who don't follow Islam. Islamic teaching says that your neighbour is not just the person who lives next door to you, but also the people who live 40 houses in front of you, behind you, to the left of you, and to the right of you. Islam tells us to treat our parents well. "Paradise lies under the feet of your mother," said the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

He SAWW also said that being kind to your parents is the second thing Allah SWT loves most. Islam spreads the lesson of Unity by the collective worships. There is a unique Importance of Ihram for Hajj and Umrah in Islam. Same dress of Ihram is the symbol

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) told Muslims to learn as much as they could and see as much of the world as they could. Between the 8th and 13th centuries, after the death of the Holy Prophet SAWW, Muslims made a lot of progress in all areas of life, especially in science, technology, medicine, math, astronomy, and art.

Three of Islam's holiest cities are Makkah, Madinah, and Jerusalem. Makkah is the most sacred city for Muslims because it is the most important and important city in the world. It is also called "the mother of all cities." The Holy Prophet moved to Madinah, which is a very holy place for Muslims. Jerusalem was the first Qibla for Muslims, but it was changed to Kabah later on.
