Introduction:

Education is the process of acquiring knowledge and skills. Education includes all aspects of learning, including formal schools, informal education, and training, mentoring, and coaching. An individual may receive formal schooling at various levels ranging from early childhood to postgraduate degrees. One's level of education can affect their employment prospects, income, personal status, and social standing. Education is defined as knowledge gained through learning. In today’s society, we live in a highly technological world where children are now being taught to use technology. We use computers, tablets, smartphones, etc. to assist with teaching. Today’s children are spending less time sitting at desks and more time playing video games, watching television, and texting; therefore, they have been removed from traditional “learning environments”. Education has changed immensely over the years and schools across America are not adapting well to these changes. Traditional classrooms and textbooks are outdated and do not fit the modern learning lifestyle. As teachers and educators begin to understand the importance of educating their students using methods that they already know how to implement, the current educational system will become obsolete.

Types of Education:

Online

Traditional classroom

Hybrid

Video conferencing

Online:

Online education is becoming more popular due to its accessibility. You can access online courses at any time and learn whenever you have free time. There are some things you need to keep in mind before taking online courses though. First, ensure that the course is accredited by accrediting agencies like the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation (NCA), Distance Education and Training Council (DETC), or the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). In addition, choose classes from universities that have a good reputation. The college should offer students the opportunity to take quality online classes while maintaining academic integrity. Furthermore, be sure to check if the class is offered at a reasonable price. If not, then consider another option.

Traditional classroom:

Classrooms can only accommodate a certain number of people at once. A traditional classroom may be able to provide more opportunities for personal interaction compared with online learning. However, it may involve travel and long commute times. Additionally, the cost of attending a traditional classroom is relatively high.

Hybrid:

Hybrid education combines both online and classroom training. Students attend lectures and receive feedback from instructors in person. However, they work independently at home based on the instructor’s instructions. This gives them the flexibility to complete their assignments anytime without interrupting their daily schedule.

Video conferencing:

Video conferencing involves two-way communication between students and instructors. Communication can occur face-to-face, over the phone, or via video chat. This type of educational method allows for greater interaction than using text messages alone.

Writing is a distraction for me. It takes me to places unknown that fulfill my need for intellectual stimulus, emotional release, and a soothing of the breaks and bruises of the day.
