Economy and breaking the cycle

My view of economy in words

If you take a step back and observe your life, your work and the way the world works, you'll be surprised.

We grow up believing that we have to go to university to get a good job. We need good grades to be able to get a good job.

Why is education seen as the only way to secure your future. We go through years of studying, memorising information and numerous tests, just to get a grade on a certificate. University is more or less the same, but with the addition of student loans.

Having a university debt is normal these days. The only way to access certain universities you have to pay using a loan, if you can’t pay for the university degree, the government can help you by giving you a student loan. So, in order to study and get a university degree, almost half the population needs a loan.

Having a degree doesn't mean much, if in the end you don't want to work in that sector. So university could have been a waste of time, effort and not to mention money. I regret going to university. I realised that we grow up being told that we have to have an education in order to have a good paying job.

I was told that I had to study and do well at school and university so that we don’t end up in low paying jobs. This puts a lot of stress and pressure on individuals. When the educational system criticises the employment system, we are left with misconceptions of life.

It doesn’t matter in the end which job you have, just as long as you are happy! 😊

In the end I didn't end up having a career based on my univserity degree and I'm doing something completely different that doesn't even require any more than GCSE's.

Life is a circle and people get stuck.

We have been programed to follow the cycle and get stuck, it's our destiny. The system is designed for the poor to be poor, and the rich to get richer. The system is designed so that we work all our life just to enjoy our retirement at the age of 65.

The system is designed so that we have debts, more debts and even more debts. Morgages exist so that people have to work as hard as they can for a house to be theirs after years of paying the bank. A house with a morgage doesn't mean it belongs to you, it belongs to the bank.

The same economic cycles exist and the cycles are the same.

We can change the way we view the world and the way the system has always been. We control our own lives and decide if we want to work for others our whole life, or if we want to be our own manager.

We don't get taught how to become entrepueners, nor do we get encouraged to become one.

Finding a job that you like is also very difficult. I still haven’t found my dream job. I have many ideas for my dream projects, but for this I’ll need time and money.

Another thing we don’t get help with at school or university, is with saving. We are not taught how to save money. School teaches us the basics, but when it comes down to finance and economy we don’t know anything (unless you study finance or economy).

We also go through the same economic cycles but we are not taught to understand them.

As someone who has never studied economics, I realised how important it was to truly understand a little of what is going on in the world around us. I have been living in a bubble unaware of the economic cycles.

This blog is my opinion on the economy and the economic cycles
