Avoid snapping your fingers, hitting the bar, or whistling to get the bartender's attention.Use eye contact or a simple wave to signal the bartender.

Have your order ready and avoid changing it multiple times. Have card and cash near and ready.

Don't order complicated or time-consuming drinks during peak hours if there’s one bartender and 20 people waiting for orders.

 Tip appropriately for good service.

Avoid trying to flirt excessively with the bartender. WE ARE WORKING. If it’s busy, please don’t keep us too long from paying attention to orders. That’s how we make money. Longer conversations are good for happy hour and slow days/nights.

Be mindful of personal space. Don't use offensive language or make inappropriate comments.

Refrain from constantly checking your phone while ordering. You’ll miss your chance.

Don't touch the bartender or their equipment.

8. Avoid waving money or credit cards in the air to get attention.

Don't ask for free drinks or discounts. Never expect this even as a friend.

Avoid arguing with the bartender over prices or policies. We find that super annoying. You went out for a drink at a bar. Don’t harass the bartender about prices THEY didn’t put there.

Pace yourself and drink responsibly. If we give you water or cut you off, it’s because we don’t want you to regret anything the next day. We respect and care for your safety and others.

Avoid causing a scene or being overly loud.

Respect other customers and the bartender's time.If the bar is busy, consider ordering multiple drinks at once.

Say please and thank you when placing your order. Politeness is so hot!

Avoid placing your entire coat, huge bags on the bar counter, or holding seats while you go dance. Go to coat check or use a hook. Try not to take up space. There’a other people who want to drink at the bar and tip :)

By following these tips, you can ensure a pleasant and respectful interaction with your bartender.
