ARE CHANGES ALWAYS CONSIDERED EVOLUTION?

Is evolution a good or bad thing?

This is a question that I have been struggling with all time, evolution is considered a change, but is a change exactly an evolution?

So I started with the concept of change, some changes generate improvement, but there are also changes that nothing improves, do you know when something doesn’t evolve? When does something regress? Yes, there are changes to the regression, the state that neither advances nor evolves.

And I concluded that the change for improvement is called evolution, and the change for deterioration or regression, etc... is called REGRESSION.

Does it mean that when something has changed, it evolves? Perhaps assuming that I discussed above, but with certainty that something that has evolved has changed.

One is part of the process of the other, but what led me to reflect on this is: as human beings, thinking beings, we are always in constant change in all areas of our life, our body undergoes change and consequently our organism, our mind undergoes change and this encompasses our personality which gives way to our character and more.

It could address many aspects that change in an individual, but does it mean that we have evolved when we suffer a change? Or sometimes these changes don't lead us to evolution, but regression?

The question is, if someone is charismatic and something happens that makes them introverted, that person has certainly changed but has this person evolved?

Or can we say that there is good evolution and bad evolution? Good evolution is when something or someone evolves for the better; bad evolution is when something or someone regresses, in this case, goes from a good state to a worse one.

And this whole conception gives rise to yet another thought that evolution is relative, how? When something evolves it may please some and displease others, for example: when Apple launched the iPhone 12 it pleased many because they were expectant for the updates in the hardware and software of the device, however, it displeased others who do not have the same financial capacity to get the iPhone 12, this is just an example, there was an evolution in this iPhone 12 launch but it was relative for the same consumer audience.

It's funny how evolution can be a paradox and that's why I decided to write about it and share with you all how amazing it is to look at it from this perspective.

If someone is resilient and relentless, adversity comes and leaves them pessimistic and unwilling to fight to achieve their goals, this person has certainly changed the world, but I don't consider it an evolution.

And if someone always does good and people only do bad to him, the day that this person decides to pay back evil with evil I can tell you that this person has changed, but has not evolved as a person my friend.

The evolution in a person’s character must be when what happens in that person’s life doesn't change him for the worse or to a static state, but when he forges and makes him more resistant to the adversities of life, this is evolution.

And I honestly confess that I limited myself enough in this story to leave its continuity with you because I only talked about the human personality, the change in character due to life events that are often good and sometimes bad, and not all of us can deal with these facts

I could cite more examples regarding a person’s personal life, but I leave the opinions to you who read it, so what is your opinion on this?
