Apple's iPhone range is gearing up for its next huge leap with the rumored iPhone 17 Air, and a fresh batch of rumors has given us our clearest look yet at what might be one of the biggest reimaginings in years. From a ridiculously thin frame to an entirely screen-covered front, this phone could redefine the limits of what we can ask from a flagship smartphone.

1. Ultra-Thin & Lightweight Design – The Thinnest iPhone Ever?

The most striking morsel of information from the latest leaks is the extremely slender design of the iPhone 17 Air. Reports suggest Apple is targeting a 6.5mm thickness, which would render it significantly thinner than the iPhone 15 (7.8mm) and even the iPhone 15 Pro (8.25mm).

Weight Reduction Potential: With its titanium frame and internally optimized stacking, the phone could come in under 160 grams, which would make it one of the lightest flagship iPhones ever.

"Air" Branding Confirmed? The branding suggests a focus on mobility, just like the MacBook Air and iPad Air, which heralds the way toward an even more streamlined, more polished design element.

2. All-Screen Display – Dynamic Island Gone?

Apple has been gradually phasing out bezels and notches, and the iPhone 17 Air may now be at the door to an edge-to-edge screen.
