It is normal to lose a certain amount of hair every day, but when you start noticing excessive hair strands on your pillow, in your hands, or when caring for your hair, it can be distressing. Several factors contribute to hair loss, including dietary choices, nutrient deficiencies, medications, underlying medical conditions, stress, pollution, and genetics. Wearing hats or helmets for extended periods can also cause hair loss in men.

Here, I will share a holistic approach to address this issue and promote new hair growth. First, homemade hair packs can effectively control hair fall and improve hair texture. These packs use natural and chemical-free ingredients to prevent hair loss and increase hair volume. One example is an avocado and banana pack, which moisturizes and nourishes frizzy hair. Avocados are rich in vitamin E, while bananas contain potassium, natural oils, carbohydrates, and vitamins that prevent hair breakage. To use this pack, mash one medium-sized ripe avocado and one small ripe banana, then add one tablespoon of olive oil. Massage the paste onto your scalp in a circular motion, covering the roots and tips. Rinse your hair with lukewarm water after 30 to 40 minutes and use a mild shampoo. Another effective pack is the amla, shikakai, and coconut oil pack. Amla and shikakai are commonly used in Indian home remedies and Ayurveda to prevent hair fall and promote hair growth. Amla is rich in vitamin C, antioxidants, and flavonoids, while shikakai strengthens hair roots, and coconut oil nourishes the hair follicles. Heat one tablespoon of amla powder, one tablespoon of shikakai powder, and two tablespoons of coconut oil in a pan. Once boiled, strain the oil and let it cool to lukewarm temperature. Massage this oil into your scalp and wash your hair after an hour or the next morning with lukewarm water and a mild shampoo.

The second point is to use the best oil for strong and healthy hair. A warm hair oil massage is a traditional practice that improves blood flow to the roots, stimulates hair growth, and prevents hair fall. Bringraj oil is one of the best oils for preventing hair fall, as it activates hair follicles and contains minerals and vitamins that prevent split ends, hair loss, and breakage. Before massaging the oil onto your scalp, warm it and then gently massage it in a circular motion for 15 minutes. Leave the oil in your hair for 30 minutes or overnight, then wash it off with a mild shampoo.

The third point focuses on a hair fall reduction concoction that addresses the impact of nutrition on hair health. A nutritious concoction made from beetroot, carrot, apples, cucumber, and ginger can provide essential nutrients to improve the health of your hair. Blend these ingredients to form a thick juice and drink it twice a week to supply your hair with the necessary nutrients.

Additionally, maintaining a balanced diet rich in protein, iron, vitamin C, omega-3 fatty acids, biotin, vitamin A, and vitamin E is essential for hair growth and nourishing hair cells. Include foods such as kiwi, oranges, avocados, spinach, nuts and seeds, whole grains, carrots, flax seeds, and quinoa in your regular diet.

Yoga asanas can also promote hair growth by enhancing blood circulation in the head region. Forward bending and inversion asanas are particularly beneficial for nourishing and strengthening hair follicles, preventing hair fall, and promoting new hair growth. Regular practice of asanas, including Sarvangasana, can help prevent premature graying of hair.

Managing stress is crucial since it is a common cause of hair loss. A relaxed mind and body can significantly improve hair health. Prior to massaging oil onto your scalp, practice stress management techniques and then gently massage the warm oil for 15 minutes in a circular motion. Leave the oil in your hair for 30 minutes or overnight before washing it off with a mild shampoo.

In conclusion, taking complete care of your hair and increasing volume and bounce requires a holistic approach. Learn to manage stress effectively and lead a positive and happy life. Remember that hair fall is a natural process, and new hair will replace the lost hair. By following these suggestions, you can maintain healthy and vibrant hair.
