4 kinds of bottom thinking, I hope you do not have

Bottom Line Thinking

I don't know if you've noticed, but great people tend to be similar, but bad people, step in the pit each differently.

We often say that thinking determines everything.

The same thing, different people face often have very different attitudes, take very different actions, and ultimately get very different results.

Charlie Munger, the old man has a view: avoiding failure is easier than pursuing success.

I particularly agree.

In a sense, as long as you step in fewer potholes, the speed of forwarding movement is naturally faster than most people.

So, today, I hope to talk to you about 4 common thinking traps and hope to bring some inspiration.

Attribution of external thinking

The most typical manifestation is: to think all the problems, is the problem of others.

For example, when talking about the house.

They will say that ordinary people simply can not afford to buy a house, the Chinese property market is cutting leeks! Disgusting speculators make it impossible for people to buy a house! The country should rectify them well, and then this property market sooner or later be finished ......

For example, when they are anxious.

They will say that this society is too sick, the network is full of content trafficking anxiety, and the social climate is corrupted by them.

The most important thing is that you will be able to get the most out of your life.

What's the worst part of this kind of thinking?

The more you blame all the causes on the outside world, the less you will take action.

The problem is not mine anyway, so why should I change?

The more times this kind of thinking occurs, the more your resentment will cascade, the more you will put too much energy into your mouth, and the more your ability to take action will decline.

There are 8 words in the Analects: A gentleman blames himself, and a small man blames others.

Freedom

The meaning is that those who are bad always blame others.

Do not believe you seriously recall, you know those excellent people, how many of them are all day to say that this is bad to scold that does not work?

I often say in my articles that there are two types of things in this world.

1. the part that you can control.

2. the part that you can't control.

A person shifts all the blame to the outside and looks good he ignores the part where he can take action.

Thinking that housing prices are too high and simply spouting off about the unreasonable property market won't change anything.

If you do want to buy a house, then get down to business and earn money, pay more attention to the case of buying a house, and try to get on board as soon as possible.

If you feel anxious, simply saying that others are selling anxiety won't change anything.

How about turning it into motivation, thinking more and doing more, just like the saying: "How to do if you can't see ahead? Then take a few more steps."

What we need to do is to focus on the manageable parts of "how to solve the problem" and "can I do better at what point", which are the keys to turning things around.

Habitually attributing to others will only narrow the path.

Shortcut Thinking

We often hear "to long-term, do not take shortcuts" these ideas, but the old saying is to say, the old way to go.

Think to understand, who does not want to spend less effort to achieve small goals?

However, once you want to take shortcuts, you can't help but start thinking about how to be lazy, and then you will start blindly following the trend, and then lose yourself in following the trend.

"What is the best side business to do?"

"I heard that some channels are particularly fierce money, or I also engage in a little?"

"Which stock/fund is more profitable to buy?"

Hope to get a simple and brutal conclusion, directly telling you good or bad, buy or not buy, right or wrong.

But the more direct the answer, the less valuable it often is.

Because the decision is based on a large number of conditions to be considered together.

Want to get rich quickly, want to go around the road straight to the end, want to easily let people take flight ......

But the vast majority of shortcuts have long been covered with the footprints of previous generations.

The methods that work are usually uncomplicated, sometimes even seemingly "clumsy" to do the same thing over and over again.

One of the important things that we strive to grow, learn, and educate ourselves about is to give ourselves the strength to resist certain temptations.

Single-value thinking

Freedom

Donte told a story.

A friend of his who was an editor at a magazine had a "trick" at work: when editing any article, he used only three keys: select all, copy, cut, and nothing more.

The friend said: "The boss gives too little money, so I work like this. I'll do as much as he gives me."

Donte asked, "Then can the articles produced this way look good?"

My friend said, "Of course, it doesn't look good."

Donte asked, "Have you improved your ability?"

The friend said, "Of course not. But what can I do? Who let him give me only so much money?"

This is a common trap of thinking: there is only one dimension of value judgment.

The single-value perspective is.

I go to work just for the salary. If the boss pays me more, I work more; if the boss pays me less, I work less, it's fair.

The composite value perspective is.

I have to work not only to get the salary but also to improve my ability, to save more chips and project experience so that my value can be higher and I can get better job opportunities in the future.

When doing something, I suggest trying to pursue compound value.

Before you do something, as I mentioned before, think about whether it is a "one is many" thing.

If it is, then you must do a good job because, in the same amount of time, you can have N gains, the growth rate naturally.

This is also a more competitive attitude.

Nowadays, the value of a single skill has been gradually reduced in all walks of life so seriously.

You do PPT again powerful, you knock code again cattle, you do sales again tongue, it is difficult to stand out with this single skill.

Must be in the A + B + C + D composite mode, to highlight your single advantage.

Put your head down and work hard thinking

It is not that there is anything wrong with working hard, but only working hard without thinking up, it is easy to fall into the trap of "pseudo-effort" and "self-motivation".

A vice president of Huawei said in his memoirs, he once asked Ren Zhengfei to report and heard another senior management report say "no credit but also hard work ah", the results Ren Zhengfei exploded: "no more such bullshit.

"Do not say such bullshit in the future, what do you mean by hard work? What do you mean by hard work? Hard work is ineffective work. I'm not asking you to lose money, so what's the point of talking about merit?"

There is a state of affairs that is particularly unfortunate: doing too much and thinking too little.

Many people are dedicated on the surface but always do repetitive things at a low level, without analysis, reflection, and optimization.

Read a fable.

A man was straining to see wood, and before he finished, new wood was delivered, and more and more wood was piled up.

A friend reminded him, "Your saw is dull, sharpen it first before sawing.

He said, "I can't even finish my work, how can I have time to sharpen the saw?

The friend asked, "When will you sharpen it?

He said, wait until I finish sawing all the wood.

Too many people are caught in this "head-sawing" dilemma. They are confined by their immediate habits, which leads them to stay in a place like a hamster on a roller, no matter how much they run.

Margaret Thatcher said.

Pay attention to your behavior, because it can become your habit.

Pay attention to your habits, because they shape your character.

Pay attention to your character, because it can determine your destiny.

And one after another behavior is a mapping of your thinking.

I hope we can all realize a little, less stepping in the pit, life will also be a subtle little bit better.
