There have been way too many cases of teacher-student relationships out there in the world. From college professors to even high school teachers having a relationship with one of their students, the majority of us know how wrong it is for a teacher to have a relationship with a student. And television doesn't slightly justify it at all. In fact, there are so many shows that show a teacher having an intimate relationship with a student and it's just plain weird.

Either a female teacher falls in love with one of her students or a college professor couldn't help himself but to find interest in one of his students, some of us can't stand to watch a show any longer that features a teacher-student relationship. If you're curious of what shows basically promote this behavior, these are the weirdest teacher-student relationships in TV history. If you know a favorite show of yours that has a relationship like this... then it's probably on this list. Yes, I'm talking about you Pretty Little Liars' fans.

Brooke and Nick — One Tree Hill

Many of us are a diehard One Tree Hill fan. Some of us have even rewatched the entire show more than three times! For a popular show such as One Tree Hill, there's a really creep teacher-student relationship that we certainly noticed.

It's possible that some of us don't find Brooke and Nick's relationship to be odd, but get this. The two of them get together after meeting through an online dating site. Brooke even placed herself on the dating site as a 23-year-old fashion designer! Even after Nick realizes her true age once being hired by the school as one of her new teachers… he continues to be interested in her anyways even though the age difference is more than ten years. Don’t you think that’s a bit odd? But later on, the two split when Brooke catches Nick cheating on her with another girl. It looks like Nick was up to no good from the start.

Ross and Elizabeth — Friends

Friends is easily one of the best shows out there, and it's also one of the shows to have one of the creepiest teacher-student relationships in TV history. Who would've thought that Friends allowed Ross and his student Elizabeth to have a relationship? Did you know this about Friends? Not only are the two about 12 years in age difference, but... it's Ross!

However, it seems that Ross was the innocent one here. It all started with an anonymous, flirty letter from Elizabeth basically asking him out. While the two hit it out for a while, Ross decided to end their teacher-student relationship solely because of the age gap. If they continued any further, it would have weirded Ross out. I always knew Ross was the good one.

Susan and Mr. Rooks — Veronica Mars

Ever noticed how unusual the relationship was between Susan and Mr. Rooks? Veronica Mars is an amazing show, but what lost its taste was what was going on between Susan and Mr. Rooks. From the weirdest teacher-student relationships in TV history, this one is no brainer.

About over ten years in age difference, we get to find out about their off-screen affair when the teacher is accused of having a loving relationship with student Carrie Bishop. So, just how did their relationship end? Well, not only did Veronica and the others found out about their relationship, but Rooks also got Susan pregnant. This also leaves Rooks to quit his job. Smooth job, Rooks.

Lip and Helene — Shameless

As insanely good as Shameless is, there's a ton of weird relationships going on in this show. Yes, without a doubt is Lip and Helene's relationship is among the weirdest teacher-student relationships in TV history. Not only is there more than 20 years in age difference between them... but Helene's husband knew all about it. He even watched them have sex!

Anyways, once Lip thought that he was going to have to leave school for good, he decided to make a risky move on his attractive professor, Helene. With his smooth charms, he managed to even go down on her in her own office. After that moment, their romantic relationship was long-lasting… even with Helene’s voyeuristic husband. But wait, Lip’s ex-girlfriend wanted to get revenge on him for breaking up with her. So she decided to leak a nude photo of Helene on campus. This lead to Helene getting fired and ultimately ending the relationship with Lip. Bummer.

Paris and Asher — Gilmore Girls

Talk about a massive age gap. Among the creepiest teacher-student relationships in TV history, Paris and Asher's age gap in Gilmore Girls is over 40 years! She's basically dating someone who can be her grandfather.

Paris immediately became attracted to Asher’s intelligence and public notoriety after attending just one of his classes. Then, the two of them are led to a long and really strange loving relationship… despite the gross age gap between the two. She’s literally the same age as his kids. But the relationship ended suddenly when Asher unfortunately dies from a heart attack. Pretty dark, right?

Dan Humphrey and Rachel Carr — Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl is loaded with a ton of scandals, so it's no shocker that it's among the shows with one of the weirdest teacher-student relationships in TV history. While many fans find the relationship to be very romantic, some of us find it to be very disturbing.

Dan’s attention is somehow caught when he meets Rachel teaching at Constance Billard School for Girls. The two head off with a really intimate affair that merely began with just coffee dates. But Rachel is immediately fired for secretly hanging out with Dan, which was seen as an opportunity to get intimate with him. Then after getting hired back at Constance, she continues her affair with him until the relationship is discovered. Rachel is fired once more.

Aria and Ezra — Pretty Little Liars

Probably the most popular teacher-student relationship in history. Pretty Little Liars has all sorts of relationships, but Aria and Ezra's was much deeper... and weirder. For a relationship with an age difference of more than ten years, it was still strange.

Just like a few of the teacher-student relationships on this list, the two didn't know each other's actual ages or the fact that Ezra would be Aria's new English teacher. But once it was Ezra's first day on the job and the two locked eyes, the two didn't mind at all and started dating. And surprisingly, their relationship never broke off. In fact, they even got married! Looks like there was a happy ending for one couple.

Kelly and Jeremiah — Saved By The Bell: The College Years

What? Saved By The Bell has a teacher-student relationship going on? Yes, but Saved By The Bell: The College Years. And believe it or not, it's Kelly who falls in love with her professor. And I have to admit, this is certainly among the strangest teacher-student relationships in TV history.

It looks like Kelly Kapowski formed a really close bond with Mr. Jeremiah Lasky even though the age gap is more than ten years. However, in order for their relationship to not become a conflict, she drops out of his class and the two head off into an intimate love affair. Yet, Jeremiah decides to end things between them when the two are suddenly caught in her dorm room making out. Hey, at least she gets back with her high school sweetheart!

Paige and Matt — Degrassi: The Next Generation

Paige and Matt's teacher-student loving relationship in Degrassi: The Next Generation didn't seem as bad, mainly because their age gap was just a little over three years. However, it's still creepy. Not to mention that Matt pulled a dick move in the end.

So, both Paige and Matt were attracted to each other from the start. Even though they struggled to find private moments together, the two continued to have a brief, but intimate relationship. However, the dad of one of Paige’s friends catches the two together. Although the two do have a relationship, Matt lies to the school, tells them that the two aren’t together, and even tells them that Paige is stalking him. In the end, he leaves his teaching job to pursue a less-restricted lifestyle. Nice one, Matt.

Archie and Ms. Grundy — Riverdale

Finally, among the creepiest teacher-student relationships in TV history is Riverdale's Archie and Ms. Grundy. While it's one of the best TV shows right now and there's a lot that's going on in Riverdale, it's no surprise to find a teacher-student relationship happening.

Anyways, Ms. Grundy was super attracted to Archie over the summer, and this leads her into having a passionate but forbidden affair with the high school star. Their relationship even continued through the following school year. But everything goes downhill when parents of Archie's friends' find out about their affair. This leaves Ms. Grundy to quit her teaching position in Riverdale High School and even leave town for good.
