What if the earth was flat

Is the earth flat?

If the Earth were flat, gravity would still exist, pulling everything towards the center of the planet. Walking away from the center would feel like climbing a steep hill, with the force of gravity getting stronger. Water would be pulled towards the center, trees might grow diagonally, and the Sun could potentially orbit the Earth. Without a geomagnetic field, Earth would be vulnerable to cosmic rays and radiation from the Sun, causing harm to living organisms. The lack of day and night cycles, seasons, and protection from the atmosphere would make life on a flat Earth difficult If you were to experience the effects of the Flat Earth theory within our magnetic field, you would still be able to observe some peculiar phenomena. For instance, consider the scenario where you and a friend of the same height lived a thousand miles apart. On a sunny day, your shadows would be identical in length due to the sun's rays hitting both of you at the same angle. If you were to meet up, the concept of traveling would be drastically different. Imagine using a map proposed by the Flat Earth Society, depicting the Arctic at the center and Antarctica as an ice wall surrounding the edges. In such a world, it would take approximately 32 hours to fly from Australia to Argentina, without the aid of GPS satellites which cannot orbit a Flat Earth. Consequently, humanity would be devoid of navigation systems and synchronized time, leading to the absence of ATMs, credit cards, and high-speed stock market transactions. However, on a positive note, with a reliable pair of binoculars, one could potentially view Dubai's Burj Khalifa from any location on the flat world. Despite these intriguing possibilities, it is evident that there is no need to construct a rocket to confirm that the Earth is not flat, as the evidence supporting a spherical Earth is abundant in our surroundings, if the earth flat we would we would ever witness is the horizon - merely a slender vertical streak of illumination in our pitch-black sky. Although we could employ electricity to provide some illumination, it would not prevent the planet's temperature from plummeting dramatically. Instead, it would trigger an ice age that would only begin to thaw during a "full" Sun, assuming that the flat surfaces were indeed oriented towards the orbital plane. Consequently, our planet would be trapped in an unending cycle of freezing and thawing. Other celestial bodies within our solar system would encounter similar fates, with Venus experiencing a significant cooling effect. Each planet in our solar system would receive considerably less sunlight than before, profoundly altering our solar system and diminishing the prospects for life. Furthermore, this would also entail a rapid demise of life on Earth. If the earth was flat doesn't this mean that the sun should be flat aswell? Well if the resurgence of the flat earth conspiracy in recent decades has been notable, with its propagation on various online platforms such as internet forums, social media, and YouTube. It is quite surprising, considering that we have known for thousands of years that the Earth is a sphere. The ancient Greek philosophers were aware of its round shape, and contrary to popular belief, this knowledge was not lost during the Middle Ages. However, let us consider a different scenario: what if the sun was also flat? In this episode of Unveiled, we will explore the intriguing question of what would happen if the Sun was flat. If you have an insatiable thirst for knowledge and are always curious, why not subscribe to Unveiled for more captivating content? Don't forget to ring the bell to stay updated with our fascinating videos! It is important to note that our actual Sun is undeniably spherical. Its shape plays a crucial role in its functioning and the orbits of the planets revolving around it. The Sun's mass and other factors are intricately connected to its spherical geometry

Very well explanation. Those, who believe in flat Earth don't understand, that the gravity increase to the center of the masses. Their idea of the structure of the world is far from physical reality.
