The human race has been the dominant species on the planet for hundreds of years & as the dominant species, we have a responsibility to ensure that the planet is well taken care of & that includes our beautiful blue oceans and all the animals that live within them. As a human, I've always been aware of the horrible things that have been done to the planet, & it has saddened me deeply & I've always tried to do my part to help the planet as best as I could. When it comes to our oceans, the human race has treated them like they aren't important to the survival of the human race. We need oceans to provide us with the number one thing we need to most and that's water and the ocean also provides us with food and a beautiful otherworldly experience. So to do my part in helping heal the planet I plan on doing the following,

I plan to spread the message about the damaging effects of dumping tons of waste on a day-to-day basis into the oceans and the effect it has on the ecosystems within the oceans. I also plan to cut down on my carbon emissions I put into the environment.

I will also try to encourage my peers to also cut down on carbon emissions they too put into the atmosphere.

One way to cut down on carbon emissions is to get rid of cars that run on gasoline and switch to electronic vehicles such as Tesla, The most well-known Electric car manufacturers in the world. Elon musk (the owner of Tesla) has worked tirelessly to create eco-friendly vehicles to ensure the environment no longer has to suffer. As Elon musk continues to strive for clean and reusable energy he tries his best to do his part to help better the human race and the planet.

There are many more factors when it comes to helping rebuild the parts of the ecosystems that have been destroyed by human activity.

Factor 1 (The cost)

How much money would it take to rebuild the ecosystem? Well, that comes down to how much money countries would want to put in to help the ecosystems. Altogether, with each country chipping in that would cover the cost of a global scale reconstruction of the ecosystems. But the problem is most countries don’t want to recognize the harm they are doing to the environment because the cost is expensive and they would rather kill the environment than help rebuild it.

Factor 2 (Time)

How much time would it take for the ecosystem to be back at full health? That depends on how much damage was caused to the ecosystems. Each ecosystem is different such as the forest. The forest would take around 40 years to recover from the damage done to the biosphere, as for the oceans the ecosystems would take less time to heal with an estimated time of 10yrs.

I could go on and on about the multiple factors that have a role in moving forward to a healthier planet.

But as a member of the human race, I will do everything in my power to ensure the people around me take matters into their own hand's to do their part in helping the planet because a healthier and more prosperous place.

Thank you all for your time.
