The Night

Some time has passed since the snowy white creature flew through the skys. Claws of a raptor and wings that were silent when he flapped them in the wind. As the days went by the nights got really cold. Ice falls from his wings as he flies through the broken window of a run down barn in the distance. Right into a nest of bones, of little animals that were unfortunate to cross his path. As he carried in a plumpy juicy rabbit in his talons, a part of the barn's roof caves in around him from the heavy snow. As the winter months turn into warmer climates with the grass and flowers starting to bud, the old run down barn with ice running down the sides as winter melts away. Looks like a waterfall flowing down the inside of the barn. A big brown bear that was hibernating for the winter wakes up in a pile of dead leaves with a mixture of hay and grass. He moves and yawns a big yawn and gets ready to go out and look for breakfast. As the days and nights get warmer and trees grow with lust of green leaves sprouting buds of blue flowers with little blue birds fluttering in every direction. As night falls and a big full moon rises, into the sky the white owl wakes up and spreads its massive wings. To go into the void of darkness to look for the most plumpy juicy meal, to take back to his nest. Even so; sometimes he had to travel far. With a wide search to find his meal. The country starts to turn into cities and vice versa as he flies back and forth every night. Till one day some people come out to the run down old barn with some machines that smelt like death and iron. As the night goes on a massive storm comes in from the south and the winds howl and the thunder claps lightning strikes a tree, and it is engulfed in flames. The forest around the old and run down barn where the white owl sleeps is on fire. With the rest of the forest every animal big or small is fleeing for their lives…but the barn owl is trapped within the barn trying to find his way out. Some of his beautiful white feathers were burned as he made his way out of the barn by flying through the hole where the roof fell. He lands by the machines and can’t fly any more the day breaks and the poor white owl layed there for hours from exhaustion. Not knowing what's going to happen, then the people came to put out the fire. They picked him up and put him in a cage. He was too tired to fight them and his wing was throbbing from the burn. He woke up in a strange place with a bandage over his wing and the throbbing pain wasn’t there but he still couldn’t fly. They throw some food at him….but he wouldn’t touch it. Even though he was hungry and his stomach was growling he hunted for his food. He found a window and parched up there wishing to be free and flying around like in the barn. Sadness came over him and he thought that he would never be wild and free again. one day he tried to escape but they caught him and he truly was alone. His wings started to get stronger and he was able to fly around the room he was in so the humans finally let him go to be free back into the wild. He then found himself a new nest up in a tree trunk, away from any buildings
