The crow that refuses to fly

My Fairy Tale

There is a little crow, with a healthy body and strong and complete wings, but never flies, no matter where he goes, or how far he walks, he only uses his legs to walk. Being a bird but refusing to fly, the little crow is not ashamed, but is content with the status quo: "There are many advantages to walking, you don't have to worry about thunder and rain, you don't have to worry about falling and getting hurt, and you can pick up change from time to time."

Whenever someone asks Little Crow why he can't fly, he skillfully recounts a childhood encounter.

It was the age when Little Crow was learning to fly. At that time, he was still very eager for the sky and envious of his mother and father who could fly, so he worked harder than anyone else to learn flying knowledge and skills, hoping that one day, he could rely on his wings and soar freely in the sky.

After a period of hard training, the little crow became the first bird to master the flying skills among the same group of flying students. On the day of the demonstration, many people, including the little crow's mother and father, came to enjoy the first public flight of the chicks.

Everything went well at first, and the birds showed their parents the results of their training, which drew their admiration. Finally, it was the turn of the little crow, who was seen circling at high speed and rolling sideways at low altitude, and his wonderful performance took the audience's breath away.

At this time, the weather suddenly changed, hanging a strange wind, disrupting the rhythm of the little crow's flight, and rolling him into mid-air. Immediately afterward, a lightning bolt fell from the cloudy sky and brushed past the little crow, who was hit or scared and fell from the sky.

Fortunately, the crow's father caught the little crow and comforted him while he flew towards the hospital. After several months of treatment, the doctor told Papa and Mama that the little crow's body was fine, but the psychological injuries would probably take a long time to heal.

From then on, the little crow stopped flying, and in his own words, "the sky rejected me".

The walking crow became the focus of everyone's attention, and people kept asking about the reason why the crow did not fly, and the crow was tired of telling his experience over and over again. Soon, everyone's curiosity gradually dissipated, and they only used the little crow as a topic of small talk.

Only the little carrier pigeon still treats the little crow as a friend and stays by his side. Whenever he saw the little crow walking on the road, the pigeon would fly to the ground and walk with the little crow for a while.

The little crow always said, "Don't walk like me, if you accidentally make you hate flying too, how can that be?"

The little carrier pigeon would respond, "Haha, that's okay, it feels good to walk on the ground once in a while after flying in the sky for too long."

The little carrier pigeon had never asked the little crow about flying, neither his past deeds nor his plans. He felt that if Little Crow was not willing to talk, then he would not ask, and all he could do was wait until Little Crow was willing to talk.

One day, as always, the little carrier pigeon was walking in the woods with the little crow. As they walked, they saw a group of small animals playing in a large tree not far away, and the sound of laughter reached them.

For some reason, the little crow was so absorbed that he suddenly shouted "No! It turned out to be a little squirrel, too young and not yet skilled in climbing the tree, slipped and fell from the tree.

The little carrier pigeon flew over like an arrow and caught the little squirrel steadily. The people there were relieved and then burst into applause and cheers, treating the little pigeon as a great hero who saved people.

After a while, the pigeon returned to the little crow. The little crow also expressed his admiration for the little pigeon and also said, "If I could fly too, I could also go to help others, right?"

The little carrier pigeon nodded and said firmly, "I can do that!"

The little crow looked at the sky and said, "Little carrier pigeon, I would like to ask you to carry me to the sky. I think that if I can once again experience the feeling of flying high in the sky, maybe I can also fly on my wings again."

So the little carrier pigeon grabbed the little crow with its paws, spread its wings, and flew toward the sky.
