Want a brief explanation of how it functions or contributes to the Awesome! A quick breakdown is as follows: What exactly is a coronogram? A coronagraph is a telescope attachment that blocks a star's bright light, similar to raising your hand to block the sun so you can see something nearby. Exoplanets and other faint objects close to stars can be observed thanks to this. Why is Starlight blocked? Planets that orbit stars are millions to billions of times brighter than stars. It is nearly impossible to see the planets directly due to that glare. Planets that would otherwise be obscured are made visible thanks to the coronagraph's reduction of this glare. How Does This Aid in Obtaining Life? An exoplanet's light can be analyzed once we are able to see it, looking for specific wavelengths that could indicate the presence of water vapor, oxygen, methane, or other potential life signs (called biosignatures). But deep down, even Chikoo longed for a true friendship—though she never admitted it. One day, it rained heavily in the jungle. Trees fell, paths were blocked, and the pond overflowed beyond its banks. Chaos spread all around. Chikoo got trapped inside her den. The ground around it had sunk, and she couldn’t get out. That’s when Bhoora, walking near the pond, heard a faint voice: “Help… is anyone there?” Bhoora stopped. He was never the type to help anyone, but this voice was different—helpless and genuine. Bhoora began removing the mud and found Chikoo stuck inside her burrow. “What are you doing here?” Bhoora asked. With a weak smile, Chikoo replied, “Trying to survive.” Bhoora extended his paw. After some effort, he pulled Chikoo out. They both remained silent for a moment. Chikoo saw no fear behind the bear’s eyes. Bhoora felt that this fox wasn’t being cunning—she was genuinely in trouble. After that day, they started meeting more often. They would sit by the pond—sometimes soaking in the sun, sometimes chatting. Bhoora taught Chikoo how to fish and hunt, and Chikoo told Bhoora about the hidden paths of the jungle and other animals' habits. Their bond grew stronger. But the other animals in the jungle were surprised. “A bear and a fox? Friends? That’s strange!” Everyone doubted their friendship. Some thought Chikoo was being clever again, while others feared Bhoora had lost his senses. Then one day, a pack of wolves entered the jungle. They wanted to claim the central forest as their territory. Fear spread among all the animals. The wolves were strong and didn’t listen to anyone. When the wolves tried to take over the pond, Chikoo said to Bhoora, “If we don’t act, this whole jungle will belong to them.” Bhoora replied, “I don’t fight… but if I must for a friend, I surely will.” Chikoo used her intelligence to set a trap against the wolves, and Bhoora used his strength to drive them away from the pond. The rest of the animals gathered courage and joined them. Eventually, the wolves were defeated, and peace returned to the jungle. That day, all the animals realized that Bhoora and Chikoo’s friendship had saved the jungle. A friendship that once seemed strange became an inspiration to all. In the final days… Bhoora sat by the pond, and Chikoo was with him. The sun was setting. Chikoo said, “You know, I used to only look for benefits in everything. But after meeting you, I understood what friendship really means.” With a slight smile, Bhoora said, “And I learned that no animal has to stay alone—sometimes, they just need a little help.” Moral: True friendship doesn’t care about appearance, background, or habits.
