Even when researchers have managed to find lost vessels, what they have seen doesn't always make sense. For example, in 1944, the Rubicon, an American ship that had been missing for a month, was discovered safe and sound with no one on board except for a dog. Similar incidents have occurred with other vessels like the Friendship Rosalia and the Mary Celeste. The Bermuda Triangle's deadly reputation extends beyond the sea, as seen with the disappearance of Flight 19 and the strange experience of a Beechcraft Bonanza pilot in 1970.
