On the shelf of a paper store, there lay the aqua paper.

As the New Year was approaching, the shopkeeper bought many pine boughs, and he selected many more aqua-colored papers from the paper shelf and made a small paper flower to hang around the door frame. The aqua paper, seeing their companions with themselves, were chosen by the shopkeeper to make paper flowers, hanging high in a prominent place on the door, shining in the warm sunlight, radiating a colorful glow, and can breathe the fresh air, swaying, looking very good. The aqua paper could envy them.

He then looked at himself, lying alone on the shelf, very lonely and sad, and so, he spent the night moping.

Early the next morning, he shouted, "I want to make paper flowers." He shouted several times, but the master did not hear him, and it was no use.

At that moment, an innocent and lively little boy suddenly ran into the store. He chose a storybook, which had an aqua cover.

The aqua paper, which wanted to be a paper flower, saw the scene and laughed lightly, saying, "What's good about being a book cover? It's not beautiful, it's not fun, it's just going to sit in a drawer and get smothered, it's not interesting at all. I want to make paper flowers that are pretty."

The child bought the book and saw the beautiful paper flowers on the store owner's door, so he said to the store owner, "I like these paper flowers very much, I want one to wear, can you send me one?" The store owner readily agreed and said, "The ones on the door are not convenient to take, I'll make one for you now." After that, the shopkeeper took the aqua paper that he wanted to make a paper flower and made a beautiful little paper flower at once. The shopkeeper himself put the flower on the little boy's coat button. The boy thanked the shopkeeper politely and went away happily wearing the flower. The aqua paper finally became a paper flower, as he had hoped, and it jumped and jumped on the child's chest with great pleasure.

After a few days, the little aqua flower, not so pretty, the little boy was thrown into the trash. The aqua-covered storybook that the boy had bought before was kept intact in his drawer and became a good friend of the child.

  Story Takeaway.

Appearance does not reflect the true value of a thing. Only when you do something practical and meaningful on the ground can you truly reflect the value.

Practice Makes Perfect Bedtime Story

In the woods, a black pile of people has gathered around a "god" shooter.

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!" Hearing three arrows in a row, all hitting the bull's eye, the crowd burst out in a gasp.

  "That was amazing!"

"It's simply unparalleled in the world."

Hearing the applause of the crowd, the "God" archer showed a proud look.

This archer, named Chen Yao Zi, was a man from the Song Dynasty in ancient China who shot arrows quickly and accurately, always attracting a large crowd of people.

At that moment, an oil seller was passing by with his oil stretcher and heard a group of people clapping and shouting, so he couldn't help but slow down and stop to see what was going on.

Chen Yao Zi then shot a few more arrows, each of which went straight to the bullseye as if by magic. The applause started again, but the oil seller did not follow the applause, but only nodded his head, and incidentally laughed a few times.

He looked at the crowd proudly and found that the oil seller did not applaud his archery skills, and was very uncomfortable, so he walked up to the oil seller and said condescendingly, "Old man, do you know how to shoot arrows?"

"Haha, I only know how to sell oil, I don't know anything about archery."

"Oh! Then it must be the first time you have seen a man like me who has no arrows?"

"That's nothing, it's just that practice makes perfect." The oil seller said with no expression.

Chen Yao Zi was very angry when he was thrown a pot of cold water and pointed at the oil seller's nose and said, "You're just an amateur, who are you to criticize my archery skills?"

The oil seller smiled and said, "Although I don't know how to shoot arrows, I do have a little skill that ordinary people may not be able to do!"

After that, the oil seller took out a gourd and a copper coin, and put the copper coin on the mouth of the gourd, and then scooped up a spoonful of oil, into the small hole in the coin, and poured the oil into the gourd. The crowd did not know what medicine the oil seller sold in the gourd, is watching intently. Only to see a thin line like a column of oil, gently slipped into the gourd.

After the old man finished pouring, he said, "Now, I have finished pouring the oil, but this copper coin is not even a drop of oil on it."

A young man ran up to pick up the copper coin first, touching and looking at it.

"Not a drop of oil on it!"

The old man said modestly, "It's nothing, it's just that practice makes perfect."

Chen Yaozi looked on in amazement, unable to say a word.

From then on, he collected his arrogance, practiced more diligently, and eventually became a true marksman, and he became very modest and not so arrogant anymore.
