Trees fell, paths were blocked, and the pond overflowed beyond its banks. Chaos spread all around. Chikoo got trapped inside her den. The ground around it had sunk, and she couldn’t get out. That’s when Bhoora, walking near the pond, heard a faint voice: “Help… is anyone there?” Bhoora stopped. He was never the type to help anyone, but this voice was different—helpless and genuine.
