Physical appearance PFAU is best known for its elaborate tails or "trains" advertised in spectacular advertising exhibitions. Consisting of over 200 sparkling springs, this train is not an actual tail, but rather an elongated top tail. Every spring, people with dazzling "eyes" of blue, green and gold are marked. These springs can reach up to 6 feet long and create spectacular fans that can almost circle the bird. The male peacock's head is decorated with upright feathers of combs and decorated in vibrant blue and green colors. In contrast, the woman known as Pihen has a restrained appearance with brown and grey feathers that lack decorative trains.
