How long will we ignore what these scientists have revealed?

Global warming and terms like climate change and the greenhouse effect are not simply words we toss around as part of lite conversation. These things are real and happening at even a faster rate than scientists first predicted.

The destruction climate change is responsible for causing to the earth’s ecology is real. This article focuses specifically on how humans are screwing up the environment and causing the problem to grow.

Issues surrounding Global Warming

All the talk and fuss about global warming has to do with the results that come from excessive warming of the atmosphere, at times or in places where it’s not characteristic, or at the wrong season.

The issue of global warming represents a big problem to humans, and to the earth’s ecology and overall atmosphere. Before we discuss some of those problems, lets talk about what we see happening around the globe.

Not only are days getting warmer, but nights are getting hotter also. In fact, nights are warming faster than days, in places like North America, where June 2021 was the hottest June on record.

Globalchange.gov previously did a study on “Temperature Changes in the United States.” Here is what they published in the 2018 National Climate Assessment Report.

At that time, their findings indicated:

“The largest changes were in the western United States, where average temperature increased by more than 1.5°F (0.8°C) in Alaska, the Northwest, the Southwest, and also in the Northern Great Plains.”

Those comments were made less than five years ago, and low and behold, today, the country is dealing with the Pacific Northwest heatwave that is engulfing places like Washington, Oregon, Canada, and British Columbia.

Normally, the Pacific Northwestern states are known to be cool and wet climates, but this year, they have had to contend with extraordinary temperatures for the region, exceeding anything observed in modern times.

Authorities are worried about the record-breaking temperatures that have become dangerous to people living in those areas. They anticipate the possibility of hundreds of deaths, due to the continually rising temperatures.

One recent report from the National Centers for Environmental Information (NOAA) indicated the Daytime Temperatures recorded 1,238 records broken, compared to Nighttime Temperatures where 1,503 records were broken.

What exactly does this mean? What problems are resulting?

Problems with Climate Change

In addition to worry over the extremely hot days, unusually hot summer nights can lead to a significant number of deaths, according to climate scientists and epidemiologists who study the environmental.

These excessively high temperatures at night prevent people from being able to cool down from the heat of the day.

Heat stroke and dehydration are just two of the primary health concerns when people’s bodies overheat.

Recent Revelation by Scientist

The public recently found out that 27 climate scientists from the World Weather Attribution network have been watching what’s been happening closely.

According to what these experts revealed to the world, the excessive heat that we’re witnessing would have been:

“virtually impossible without human-caused climate change,”

This new analysis by the 27 climate scientists from the World Weather Attribution network was shocking, to say the least. And the study warns,:

“As warming continues, it will become a lot less rare.”

The men make up a network of collaborators in the science field, who seek to determine the connection between climate change and the extreme weather we see occurring.

These professionals use various scientific techniques that enable them to analyze the weather extremes and determine to what degree we humans are a factor.

The above quote clearly describes the undeniable conclusion that these scientific experts have come to.

Science has helped us know and understand that carbon dioxide is the biggest threat to our climate.

Whenever oil, coal, and other types of fossil fuels are burned for energy, they release carbon dioxide.

Practically everything we use in our lives is powered by this energy, including our homes, cars, and yes, those beloved smartphones.

Now, the big question is: What will mankind do about it?

Final Thoughts

No matter what you may have previously thought about the phrases global warming, or climate change, there is no longer any doubt about the negative affects of what is happening to the planet.

So now what? Well, we can start by asking ourselves two questions:

1) What can I personally do about global warming?

2) Can my individual actions really help reduce global warming?

The answer to the second question is yes: Yes, you can personally do your part to help end global warming.

As for the first question, there actually are some steps you individually can take, as well as those in your household.

Many suggestions about helping to end climate change may not be practical for some everyday, ordinary citizens.

For instance, driving a fuel-efficient vehicle or powering your home with renewable energy may not affordable for you. Or maybe you don’t even own a home or a vehicle.

There are still things you can personally do.

  • You can speak up about the issue of climate change and global warming. If you’re a writer — write about it; at least once or twice.
  • Start buying energy efficient light bulbs, like the LED bulbs that use up to as much as a whopping 80 percent less energy than regular bulbs.
  • If you drive, keep your car properly maintained and tuned up, and your tires in good condition. This helps to save on gas in the long run.
  • Get out of your car and take the bus occasionally.
  • Get off the bus and ride your bike or walk.
  • Unplug from your electrical and digital devices; take out an actual print book and do some reading instead.

There are also other helpful ways you can discover, when you research how to help with the issue of global warming.

By doing your part, especially using less energy, you will not only help to eventually end climate change, but you’ll also save money in the process.
