Collectively Rewilding - The Story

Collectively Rewilding is a Community Dream as the name implies. That community is both a collection of colleagues and a worldwide phenomena. While Collectively Rewilding as a brand is an individual, there are people around the country already signed up to work under the Collectively Rewilding brand or alongside it, as fellow content creators and affiliates.

I am the individual behind the brand and my name is Sabrina Giesler. I grew up in Southwest Colorado, the Four Corners area. An area filled with flowers, and fantasy, and folklore. Where there are canyons so deep that people can still be lost and never found, with deserts and mountains, farmers, ranchers, and mountain men and women. Perhaps the last true remaining remnants of the Wild West - like a painting, with the Tribes of the Diné, Ute, Zuni, and Hopi, where Cowboys and Natives alike can still be found driving cattle on the Highways and city streets, all while adding the striking color of contrast, of the liberally sprinkled “Hippies” of Durango and Dolores Colorado, as well as Moab Utah, highlighting every possible thought process about nature.

I grew up at my grandmother’s knee, a woman born in 1913, who lived until just days before her 101st birthday. She was my strongest role model and influence; as I was the oldest child of her youngest child, of her eight children, and I came along when she had more time in her life. She had no miscarriages or stillbirths, all of her children are still living to this day, and she influenced hundreds, possibly thousands (without the internet!), not only through her very prolific number of children, but also as a teacher for 25 years, at a time when it was still new for married women to teach at all. She raised gardens and chickens, and lived a healthy life all of her days, leaving behind a legacy of learning and natural health.

My grandmother’s influence is a large part of why Collectively Rewilding will be an online community primarily for learning, with specialized groups, courses, and other forms of exclusive content. A percentage of the content will be shared with the public for free through various social media platforms, as the goal of this business is to share useful knowledge with as many people as possible, while generating a strong stream of revenue and a consistently quality product maintained through our membership platform.

Our specialized groups will include things such as regional groups and activity specific groups, like beekeeping, herbal knowledge, and gardening activities. The courses that we will create will have similar topics and will back up the groups.

Affiliates will have the opportunity to create their own groups and courses, thereby collecting from a separate revenue stream, a percentage of which will be diverted to Collectively Rewilding. Collectively Rewilding already has a report published and a book in the works. Elements like these will be handled by our publications department and that department will be offered to all of our affiliates also. Items such as these books and reports, any products or merchandise, will be eligible to be marketed on our main news feed.

Our content will be coming from all around the country - a beekeeper in Oklahoma, an urban farm in Carlsbad California, a property just beginning the off-grid process in Texas, and more - and we will continue to encourage the growth of new entrepreneurs in our community, who will be welcomed as affiliates whenever appropriate. As a small off-shoot within our community we will be offering courses on creating small businesses and we will offer research for free or low-cost legal services to help our members successfully accomplish their goals.

Collectively Rewilding is more than a dream, it is already happening, within our community and without. Thank you for taking a little bit of your time to hear of our hopes and wishes, we hope they align with your own!
