You Only Live Once (1937 movie)

an underrated classic ahead of its time

Before inspiring an acronym, You Only Live Once was a movie. Henry Fonda gives a moving performance as a vagabond wrongfully sentenced to death. Sylvia Sidney does her best with a poorly written female lead.

While melodramatic, it demonstrates the legal system's flaws and the dangers of false accusations.
