'Twelve Ordinary Men' is an academic book written by John MacArthur. The subtitle to this work is 'How the Master Shaped His Disciples for Greatness, and What He Wants to Do with You.' This is a great book that lets the reader get to know the why the Lord chose these men and the special calling they all received. It is a book that is well-detailed with selected Bible verses at the beginning of each chapter. 'Twelve Ordinary Men' would make a great discussion book for bible studies or even a few college courses. One can learn a lot from the ordinary people then and now.
