Shush the noise.

Breath and relax

Shush the noise.

I sit here, quite happy, listening to next door powerwashing his garden. My husband upstairs steam cleaning the bathroom floor. In between, when the noise quietens, the bird singing proudly. It’s summer. The sun shines, my heart’s filled with gratitude and love. I am here and alive.

See, sometimes we wake up wrapped in our downs and don’t see the simplest things that are a joy happening on our own doorstep. Meditation is changing my outlook for the better.

In this world, we all need a mind filter to sway our overthinking of bad to the good side. Instead of dwelling, let’s be glad for being here alive and give thanks for what we have got.

Below is a little something I hope you will enjoy

Breath and Stillness

She sits still,

the world’s noise soft around her,

a bird calls,

the day hums gently,

and her breath finds a calm place.

Sunlight touches her skin,

warmth fills her quiet heart,

she watches the garden wake,

and lets the small joys

take root inside her.

Thoughts come like clouds,

some dark, some bright,

she learns to watch,

not chase or hold,

letting peace grow between.

The noise fades,

her mind clears,

she smiles at the stillness,

knowing this moment,

is enough, is whole.

She is here,

alive with the simple things,

the quiet, the light,

the steady beating

of a grateful heart.
