Better than The Thing

Original movie poster

No one can hear you scream in the vacuum of space.

Claustrophobia in the empty void. A perfect monster hiding in the shadows. Practical effects. Disturbing androids. Corporate dystopia.

Crew expendable.

The Nostromo, as influential a starship as the X-Wing. Ripley, badass heroine inspiring generations. Shame only one sequel ;)

Let's not forget the absolute and total badassery of Ripley 😁

It's a poetic metaphor about loneliness, social isolation, and defeating the beast within. Just kidding! But another chilling summation. Great work.

Wow! You’re one roll! The actual Alien in this movie was a creature of nightmares. Such an iconic image that found its way into other films like alien vs predator and Prometheus. Excellent use of words in this critique. Well done!!!

That last line is a killer and hilarious and more or less true. Alien is the better of the two first films and is all you have said and more. Perfect in just about any way you can look at it. Bravo for this awesome critique.
