The month of August is one where the summer seems to be dwindling away. At times the days and nights seem cooler with bouts of warmer days and nights. The summer picnics seems to be also fewer. The back-to-school sales begin along with various school orientations at different levels of schooling. Again, August is the end of summer vacation.

They impress us, and sometimes they scare us, but the ultra-rich are always interesting. Some of their famous activities include buying yachts too big to move through channels, buying ridiculously priced cars that could feed the homeless of New York for weeks, and their expensive tastes in sex workers.

I recently rewatched this with my husband and I was shocked at just how many iconic lines the film is responsible for. I honestly think it’s got more quotable lines still in the zeitgeist than any other. PS great summary of the film!

That was a great movie, and great summary. "Iconic lines parodied and Remembered for close to three decades:" yep! Times have changed, a few months ago I watched a psychologist on youtube say “You complete me” is a sign of a controlling personality you should run away from immediately in any dating situation. But maybe in 2023, being a youtube psychologist and telling people anything they want to hear is the way to "Show me the moneeeey!" so who knows what to believe. Congrats on TS
