Colin Ridyard and Sonia Sparkles have created a children's picture book entitled 'Eddie the Elephant and the Pirate Treasure. This picture book answers the question. It is a story of Jackie and a special friend named Eddie and while on the way to a birthday they get sidelined into another adventure and will they make the birthday party?

Colin wrote a story that is quite fun to read along with Sonia's pictures that only added to his words. the black typeface of the words on the light blue background made it easy to read even with the type that was in manuscript print. Early readers will be able to learn this skill of reading the pictures. Sonia's pictures are just detailed enough to give readers some hints of what is or is going to happen in the story.
