New Moon is a harrowing depiction of an insecure girl suffering from depression. Whether or not we agree with why Bella is depressed, Meyer captures her internal turmoil perfectly. The book is lacking as a romance and it's definitely not a feminist masterpiece, but it is a fascinating psychological study.
The Month of July
July the first true month of Summer even though Summer starts on June 21. There is our Fourth of July holiday and on July 1 Canada Day. The first is also my birthday. It is the month of picnics, going to beaches, barbeques, etc. Just a fun month and still show appreciation to all veterans.

Recently, the pleasant surprise of placement on the Vocal Bonus Leaderboard sent me down a rabbit hole. Now, rabbit holes are a pretty common place for me to spend time, but I don't always feel the call to write about them. To be honest, the thought of sharing some of them mortifies me.

Sounds like a interesting story - good review
Meyer choosing to leave certain pages blank when depicting Bella's depressive state was an excellent choice. Depression causes memory to fail and days to blend together entirely. The world is colorless, food tasteless... Bella would not have had much to say.
