Will I be single for the rest of my life?! I said over dramatically as I flopped down on my queen sized mattress with plush sheets the color of lilac. Just as I was giving up on finding “true love” I received a notification on my iPhone 7. I read the notification, “It’s from tinder!” I said excitedly. As opened the app to see that I had been liked by a handsome man named Harley. “Huh coincidence that his name is also the name I would name my son if I ever have one.” “I’ll message him and just say hi.”

After I message him saying hi he responds not even a couple seconds later. “Wow quick response he must really like my profile.” “Hey, how are you doing? I couldn’t help myself you just look so beautiful in your pictures I couldn’t resist messaging you just once.” The message from him reads. It makes me blush so before I respond I check out his profile a little more in detail. He likes puppies, working out, and spending time with the people he loves. He hates people that lie or aren’t what they seem. He’s 22 so a year older than me and he’s got sun kissed skin pale blue eyes and dirty blonde hair. “Okay just my type.”

I didn’t realize 6 minutes had passed by and I hadn’t responded, he double texted me asking if I wanted to grab dinner with him sometime? I texted back saying I’d think about it and let him know. It was a Saturday after all and I was just complaining about not ever finding love. “Let me call my best friend and see what she thinks.” I thought to myself. I called Ashley and told her what had happened on the last 30 min. “Girl you deserve to go out with a hot man go out and eat and make sure he pays.” She laughs out “Okay your right I’ll go out tonight!” I text him back saying I’ll go out and he tells me to be ready at 8:00pm.

I get ready and I wear a skin tight black dress with silver heels my hair up in a high ponytail. I do a subtle all natural make up look with light blush. Before I know it my doorbell is being rung. “How did he know where my house was?” I wonder to myself. I shake it off as I open the door to meet him. He’s more handsome in person, he escorts me to his silver Audi and opens my door for me. “Oh so chivalry isn’t dead.” I say. He chuckles and it sends chills down my body. We drive to one of the most expensive restaurants in my small town of Cheshire in Maryland; La Venture de Ma it’s a very expensive French Cuisine based restaurant.

We get inside and we’re greeted by the maître d’. “Anderson.” He says to her. “Right this way mister Anderson.” She leads us to the back of the restaurant and out onto the balcony which is very private, it’s decorated with lights, and rose petals, and candles. “Oh this is gorgeous.” I gush. He pulls my chair out for me and when he sits down I couldn’t help but to ask him what’s been bothering me since earlier in the day. “So I have to ask this but how did you know where my house was?” He looks up from his menu with his captivating blue eyes and says to me in his deep voice. “Your location is on on your tinder account.” I blush a deep red and take my phone out to disable it.

The waiter comes by and before he can speak Harley is already ordering in French I might add, and I have to say I was impressed and it was extremely attractive. “je voudrais le filet mignon moyen saignant, et elle aura la queue de homard avec une salade césar et des biscuits. nous prendrons également votre plus belle bouteille de merlot.” He says fluently and the waiter nods and takes the menus and leaves. “Oh he didn’t ask what I wanted.” I said as I was about to call out to him. Harley grabs my hand, “don’t worry I ordered for you as well sweetheart.” “Oh, I’m very picky it’s okay I can just go tel him what I want.” I say to him. “Trust me babygirl.” He says as I blush furiously.

The waiter returns and my jaw drops. “How did he know I love lobster and salad together?!” I think to my self with a strong suspicion against him. As I’m looking at him with squinted eyes he proceeds to open the wine and poor us a half a glass each. As he hands me my glass he says to me, “You put everything I would need to know to make this the perfect date on your tinder babygirl.” He holds his glass out as if to say cheers to me and says, “Here’s to a lovely evening with a beautiful woman and the best merlot money can buy.” Our glasses clink together and we both drink, as the night goes in it’s full of laughter and pure enjoyment. “And here I thought he was a stalker with everything he knew about me, how ridiculous of me.” I chuckle to myself with the thought.

“So where do you want to go tomorrow?” He says with a mischievous glint in his eyes. “Oh gosh this is going to be interesting.” I think to myself as we stand to leave, he takes my hand as we leave the restaurant. “He’s perfect.” I think to myself with a smile.
