One Year Without Alcohol: The Person I Never Knew Existed!
I had always considered myself someone who enjoyed a drink. Not excessively, but casually—after work, with friends, or to wind down on a Friday night. It was just part of life. So, when I decided to give up alcohol for a year, it wasn’t because I had hit rock bottom or had some kind of dramatic intervention. There was no moment of crisis, no life-changing event. I just wanted to see what would happen. What started as a casual experiment became something much bigger. The decision to stop drinking turned out to be one of the most revealing, life-altering choices I’ve ever made. What I discovered about myself during that year is something I could never have predicted. I found a person I didn’t even know existed—and what I learned will probably make you question your own life choices, too.

Wealthy Man Rejected His Poor Long Lost Daughter, Got Punished by Karma Days Later
Wealthy entrepreneur Alexander willfully dismisses his biological daughter Clara’s attempts to strike up a relationship with him. He changes his tune when she saves the life of a potential investor in his business and, in so doing, exposes his true, deplorable character in public. Clara stood before the towering, ornate door of the sprawling mansion, her heart pounding like a drum. She raised her hand, hesitating for a moment before letting it fall against the wood with a series of firm knocks. A man, about forty, opened the door. “Yes?” he asked, sounding unwelcoming.Alexander? I’m Clara,” Clara replied nervously. “Your daughter.” Alexander looked at her with disbelief. “My daughter? I don’t have a daughter.” “My mom told me you’re my dad. She’s gone now, and I… wanted to meet you.” “And you just believed her? Came here expecting what? Open arms? A happy reunion?”just want some answers. Don’t you want to know about my mom?” Alexander laughed mockingly. “People don’t just show up and become family!” At that point, Clara showed him an old photo of her mom, and Alexander’s tough look softened for a moment. “Linda,” he said quietly. “Yes, Linda, my mom. Do you remember her?” Clara asked. Alexander’s tone turned harsh again. “Remember her? Yes, of course. But let’s not romanticize the past. Your mother was a hippie layabout, a mistake, a regrettable chapter in my life.”

The Seductive Encounter: A Journey into Forbidden Pleasures. Content Warning.
I'll never forget those softly spoken words. The way that she made eye contact while getting out of my car and softly uttered those words immediately got my mind racing with possibilities. It seemed to me as if they were thrown out almost as an afterthought, yet I couldn't help wondering if there was an unspoken invitation there. The impact of them resonated with me for months.

Heaven and Hell
It was said that between Heaven and Hell, there exists a place that no soul ever wished to linger. This place, a realm caught between light and darkness, was known as the In-Between. Neither a haven of angels nor the inferno of demons, the In-Between was a limbo where choices were confronted, secrets were unearthed, and fates were sealed.

LOVE HURTS
I remember the first time I saw her. It was a sunny afternoon, and the world seemed to slow down as she walked into the room. Her name was Emily. As the saying goes "love is blind" and indeed it is, to me,she was the most beautiful girl in the world. Her smile could light up the darkest of days, and her laughter was like music to my ears. I was instantly captivated. Let's be frank, I believe that even you, you've atleast met someone who insanely turns your feelings on from the first sight. Atleast everbody experienced that. And this was the same situation between me and Emily. We met at a mutual friend’s party. I was standing awkwardly by the snack table, trying to muster the courage to talk to her. She must have noticed my nervousness because she walked over and introduced herself. Her voice was soft and kind, and I felt an immediate connection. We spent the rest of the evening talking about everything and nothing, losing track of time as the hours flew by. True, when you find the other half of your heart, words just keep flowing in. From that night on, Emily and I were inseparable. We went on long walks, shared our dreams and fears, and laughed until our sides hurt. She had a way of making me feel like I was the only person in the world that mattered. I fell deeply in love with her, and I believed she felt the same way. Our relationship was like a fairytale. We had our ups and downs, but we always found our way back to each other. I cherished every moment we spent together, from the quiet nights watching movies to the spontaneous road trips that took us to new and exciting places. Emily was my everything, and I couldn’t imagine my life without her. By the way this is a true life story. She had completely dominated my mind and thoughts. But as time went on, I started to notice subtle changes. You know, if you've ever been in a relationship, of which almost everyone, you realise the degree of intimacy depreciates over time in most cases.Emily became distant, and our conversations grew shorter. She seemed preoccupied, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong. I tried to ignore it, convincing myself that it was just a rough patch and that we would get through it. I also thought that maybe it's normal in relationships right? One evening, as we sat on the couch in silence, I finally gathered the courage to ask her what was going on. She looked at me with sad eyes and took a deep breath. “I don’t know how to say this,” she began, “but I think we need to take a break.” Her words hit me like a ton of bricks. I felt my heart shatter into a million pieces. “Why?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. “I thought we were happy.” Emily looked away, unable to meet my gaze. “I care about you so much,” she said, “but I feel like we’ve grown apart. I need some time to figure things out.” I wanted to scream, to beg her to stay, but I knew it wouldn’t change anything. I nodded, trying to hold back the tears that threatened to spill over. “If that’s what you need,” I said, my voice trembling, “then I understand.” The days that followed were some of the hardest of my life. I felt lost and alone, my heart aching with every beat. I replayed our conversations over and over in my mind, searching for clues that I might have missed. I couldn’t understand how everything had gone so wrong. Weeks turned into months, as you know that's how relationships end these days. I week no talk second week no talk and finally break up. I threw myself into work, hoping to distract myself from the pain. But no matter how busy I kept myself, thoughts of Emily were never far from my mind. I missed her smile, her laughter, the way she made me feel like I was the most important person in the world. One day, out of the blue, I received a message from her. My heart raced as I opened it, hoping for some kind of reconciliation. But as I read her words, my heart sank. She openly and happily informed me how she met someone else. I think she thought that i had moved on too but I was still into her. She was happy, and she wanted me to be happy for her too. I felt a wave of emotions crash over me—anger, sadness, betrayal. How could she move on so easily? How could she forget everything we had shared? But as the initial shock wore off, I realized that holding onto the pain would only hurt me more. I had to let her go. It wasn’t easy, but I slowly began to heal. I surrounded myself with friends and family who supported me and reminded me of my worth. I started to find joy in the little things again, and I learned to appreciate the beauty of life, even without Emily by my side. Looking back, I realize that our love story, though filled with heartbreak, taught me valuable lessons about myself and what I want in a relationship. I learned that love is not always enough to keep two people together and that sometimes, letting go is the most loving thing you can do. Emily will always hold a special place in my heart, but I know now that I deserve someone who loves me unconditionally, someone who will stand by me through thick and thin. And until I find that person, I will continue to cherish the memories we made and the lessons I learned. I hope by any chance Emily finds this story.

The Warm Hug to Myself on My Recent Accomplishment
The Warm Hug to Myself on My Recent Accomplishment Whenever you find yourself talking negatively to yourself or judging or shaming yourself for something you have done wrong maybe today, or in your past, think about saying those harsh words to the younger version of you. How atrocious of you would it be to talk to your inner child like that, of telling the most disdainful of phrases that would never leave your mouth for the people you love? We live in a world where it is normalized to treat yourself with grit and harshness and to be hard on yourself because guess what we live in a hustling world where everybody charges with lightning speed towards their goals and if you render yourself with steadiness and ease, we are losing the damn game of life.

Digital Detox: Unplugging to Reclaim Your Sanity
Let’s face it: We’re all a little too attached to our screens. Whether it’s the constant ping of notifications, the never-ending scroll of social media, or the black hole of YouTube that swallows hours of your life, screens have taken over. It’s like our phones have become extensions of our hands, and if we ever accidentally leave them at home, we’re pretty sure the world might end. But what if—brace yourself—you took a break? Yes, a digital detox. It’s time to put down the gadgets, step away from the screens, and remember what it feels like to have a functioning brain (and maybe even a social life).
