The Obsidian Heart and the Sunstone Soul
The city of Veridian was a jewel box of chrome and glass, a testament to humanity’s relentless climb towards the heavens. But beneath the shimmering towers, in the labyrinthine underbelly known as the Undercroft, life was a brutal, monochrome struggle. Here, in the perpetual twilight, lived Silas, a man whose existence was as grey and unforgiving as the reinforced concrete walls that enclosed him.

From Rock Bottom to Rebuilding: How I Found My Way After Losing Everything
The Time When Everything Fell Apart There was a point where everything I was familiar with turned right-side-up. It was not one incident. It was a series of poor choices, things, and mishaps that all built on one another, so I landed myself bottom-most.

What I Learned from Being Ghosted by My Best Friend
We never had a fight. That’s what still haunts me the most. No yelling. No tears. No dramatic confrontation. Just a quiet drifting, so slow and subtle I didn’t realize it was happening until it was over.

The Bus Stop Stranger
I was late—again. The rain was relentless, drumming against my umbrella like it was trying to shake me out of my fog. I had just left the office, soaked in more than just rain: burnout, boredom, and the dull ache of a life on autopilot. My job in digital marketing paid the bills, but it was eating me from the inside out.

The Lie You Keep Telling Yourself That’s Holding You Back
We lie to ourselves more than we realize. Not with dramatic stories or outrageous excuses — but with quiet, subtle phrases that feel harmless. So soft, they slip past our awareness. So believable, they feel responsi And the most dangerous of them all? “I’ll do it later.” Later when you're less tired. Later when the timing is perfect. Later when life isn’t so overwhelming. Later when you finally feel “ready.” But the brutal truth is this: Later is where dreams go to die. --- The Seduction of “Later” “I’ll do it later” sounds smart. Responsible, even. You’re not quitting. You’re just postponing, right? You convince yourself you need to be in the right mindset. That waiting will somehow make you better prepared. That tomorrow will be easier, clearer, calmer. But that’s the trap — you’re not preparing, you’re avoiding. Behind that excuse often lies something deeper: Fear of failing Fear of judgment Fear of change Fear of not being “enough” So, you pick safety over progress. Comfort over challenge. And the result? Nothing changes. Days blur into weeks. Weeks into months. Years pass — and the book isn’t written, the business isn’t started, the weight isn’t lost, the truth isn’t spoken. Not because you didn’t care… but because you kept waiting. You kept convincing yourself you had more time. You kept pushing your potential further and further away. --- Time Isn’t Guaranteed — and Motivation Won’t Save You We act like time is infinite. Like life will keep giving us chances. But life is not a patient teacher. It moves forward with or without your participation. You might have more time — but you won’t always have the energy, clarity, or freedom you do now. And motivation? It’s a lousy partner. It comes and goes like the wind. One day you're inspired, the next day you're empty. You can’t wait to feel like it. You can’t trust a feeling to build your future. You must act. Even when it’s uncomfortable. Even when it’s inconvenient. Because small action will carry you farther than strong intentions ever will. Progress doesn’t come from what you planned. It comes from what you did. --- You’re Never Truly “Ready” Another lie your comfort zone loves to whisper: “You’re not ready.” You tell yourself you need more: Time Practice Confidence Research But readiness doesn’t come before action — it’s built by it. Nobody starts great. Every master was once a beginner. The first step is always clumsy. But it’s a step forward. Courage isn’t the absence of fear. It’s action despite fear. You don’t wait to be confident. You gain confidence by moving anyway. You grow into the person you want to be by starting before you feel ready. --- The Real Cost of Waiting Waiting feels easier. Safer. But it’s not free. Every time you choose “later,” you’re sacrificing: Growth Opportunity A better version of yourself And worse — you start to believe the lie. You teach your brain that hesitation is acceptable. That your goals are negotiable. That your dreams can be paused. You normalize putting your life on hold. Until one day, you look back — and realize how much time you gave to fear. How many chances you let slip through your fingers. And how much of your life was spent preparing to live, instead of actually living. Regret doesn’t shout. It whispers. Quietly. Repeatedly. Forever. --- Start Small. Start Now. You don’t need to take a giant leap. You just need to take one intentional step. Write one messy paragraph. Record one shaky video. Send one uncomfortable message. Take one walk. Make one decision. It doesn’t need to be perfect. It just needs to begin. Because clarity comes from action — not overthinking. Momentum starts with movement. --- Final Thoughts: Kill the Lie, Save the Dream Next time you whisper, “I’ll do it later,” stop. Ask yourself: If not now, when? If not me, who? You are not too late. You are not too old. You are not underqualified. You are capable — right now. Start small. Start messy. Start afraid. But start. Because your future isn’t waiting for perfection. It’s waiting for your first brave step.

I Got My Boss Fired by Accident (And I Still Feel Guilty)
It All Started With a Simple Email It was just another ordinary Monday. The kind where you sip coffee, scroll through emails, and mentally prepare yourself for a full inbox and back-to-back meetings. That morning, an email popped up from our department head with the subject line: “Share Your Honest Feedback – Help Us Improve.”

Every country gets the leaders it deserves
In the same way we are all a product of our environment, leaders are a direct reflection of the society that produces them. Even though this title might seem harsh, it is painfully true. Bad leaders do not sprout out of thin air, they are enabled, tolerated, promoted and sometimes celebrated by the very people who suffer under them. Let's talk about why this happens, how do bad leaders emerge in different societies and rise to power.

Silk Paper and Side Eyes
There’s something comforting about writing by hand. The pen doesn’t rush me. It doesn’t interrupt or expect a performance. It lets me arrive as I am—unfinished, unpolished, uncertain. I’ve been journaling for years, mostly in solitude, mostly without any clear purpose except to stay connected to myself. But recently, I turned a few entries into something I could share online. And to my surprise, it felt good. Like I had taken something deeply personal and held it out in my palm—not to be admired but just to say, this is real.

The Shopping List. Top Story - April 2025.
Author’s Note: A shopping list might seem like a simple thing, but it often carries all the small balances we try to keep in life — between what we want, what we need, and what we dream of. This poem is a lighthearted reflection of my own everyday choices, sprinkled with a bit of humor and honesty.
