On a mango tree in a wilderness, there lived many birds. They were blissful in their little homes. Before the beginning of the blustery season, all the creature of the wilderness fixed their homes. The birds additionally made their homes safer.

Many birds brought twigs and leaves and others wove their homes. "We ought to likewise store some nourishment for our kids," trilled one of the birds. Furthermore, they gathered food, until they had to the point of seeing them through the stormy season. They kept themselves occupied with planning for the difficult stretches.

Before long the downpours came. It was trailed by thunder and lighting. Every one of the creatures and birds remained in their homes.

It kept coming down for a long time. At some point, a monkey wet in the downpour came into the woodland. He sat on a branch, shuddering with cold, water trickling from its body.

The unfortunate monkey made an honest effort to get cover, yet to no end. The leaves were sufficiently not to save him from the downpours. "Brrr! It is so cool!" said the monkey.

The birds were observing this. They felt frustrated about the monkey yet there was little they could accomplish for him. One of them said, "Sibling! Our little homes are adequately not to give you cover."

Another bird expressed, "We all ready for the stormy season. Assuming you had, you wouldn't be in this forlorn circumstance."

"How might you venture to guide me?" said the monkey, snarling at the bird. The monkey irately jumped on the bird's home, tore it and tossed it on the ground. The bird and her chicks were vulnerable.

The unfortunate bird thought, "Nitwits never esteem a word of wisdom. Prompting them is better not."

Many birds brought twigs and leaves and others wove their nests. “We should also store some food for our children," chirped one of the birds. And they collected food, until they had enough to see them through the rainy season. They kept themselves busy preparing for the tough times.

Soon the rains came. It was followed by thunder and lighting. All the animals and birds stayed in their homes.

It continued raining for many days. One day, a monkey wet in the rain came into the forest. He sat on a branch, shivering with cold, water dripping from its body.

The poor monkey tried his best to get shelter, but in vain. The leaves were not enough to save him from the rains. “Brrr! It is so cold!" said the monkey.

The birds were watching all this. They felt sorry for the monkey but there was little they could do for him. One of them said, “Brother! Our small nests are not enough to give you shelter."

Another bird said, “All of us prepared for the rainy season. If you had, you would not be in this piteous situation."

“How dare you tell me what to do?" said the monkey, growling at the bird. The monkey angrily pounced on the bird’s nest, tore it and threw it on the ground. The bird and her chicks were helpless.
