Real Madrid is one of the most successful football clubs in the world, having won numerous domestic and international titles over the years. However, the period between 2015 and 2018 will go down in history as the golden era for the Spanish giants, as they became the first team to win the Champions League three times in a row in the modern era.

Led by the legendary coach Zinedine Zidane, Real Madrid assembled a team of superstars that proved to be virtually unstoppable in Europe. Under the guidance of Zidane, they won their group comfortably, before defeating Napoli, Bayern Munich, and Atletico Madrid in the knockout stages to reach the final.

The final against Atletico Madrid was a tense affair, with both teams struggling to find the breakthrough in regular time. However, in the 11th minute of extra time, Real Madrid's superstar Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up and scored the crucial goal that clinched the title. It was the 11th Champions League title in Real Madrid's history, but little did anyone know at the time that it was just the beginning of something truly special.

The following season, Real Madrid became the first team to successfully defend the Champions League title in the modern era. They once again won their group, before defeating Napoli, Bayern Munich, and Atletico Madrid in the knockout stages to reach the final. In the final, they faced Juventus, who had been in outstanding form throughout the competition.

However, Real Madrid proved to be too strong for Juventus, winning the final 4-1 in Cardiff. Cristiano Ronaldo was once again the hero for Real Madrid, scoring two goals in the final to help his team lift the trophy for the 12th time in their history. It was a truly dominant performance from Real Madrid, who showed their class and quality in every phase of the game.

The third consecutive Champions League title came in the 2017/18 season, when Real Madrid once again faced Liverpool in the final. They had a relatively easy run to the final, defeating PSG, Juventus, and Bayern Munich in the knockout stages. However, Liverpool, with their attacking trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, and Sadio Mane, presented a significant challenge for Real Madrid.

The final was a thrilling affair, with both teams going toe-to-toe in a bid to lift the trophy. However, Real Madrid once again proved their resilience and quality, winning the game 3-1. Gareth Bale, who had come on as a substitute, scored two sensational goals to secure the title for Real Madrid. It was a remarkable achievement for Real Madrid, who had once again made history by winning the Champions League three times in a row.

The golden squad of Real Madrid during this period was undoubtedly one of the greatest football teams of all time. They played with style, flair, and determination, and their performances in the Champions League will go down in history as some of the best ever seen. Cristiano Ronaldo, who was the top scorer in all three seasons, was undoubtedly the star of the team, but he was ably supported by a talented and experienced group of players.
