His transition to a crucial position in the final years of his nine-year stint at Manchester United has become a real Juventus striker last season.

Ronaldo spent six seasons at United between 2003 and 2009, winning eight major trophies, including the 2008 Ballon d'Or. In the 2007-08 season, the year he helped United last won the Champions League, scoring 118 goals and winning the Premier League Golden Boot.

Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the best footballers, has joined a € 25 million transfer from Juventus' Premier League to one of his former rivals, Old Trafford, for a £ 25 million transfer agreement, according to CBS Sports Insider Fabrizio Romano. He has won nine trophies, including three first league titles (2006-07, 2007-08, and 2008-09) and one Champions League trophy (2007-09). Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d'Or winner, moved to Juventus from Real Madrid in Spain in 2009 and joined the English Premier League 12 years ago. Although he has never won the Champions League with Juventus, he joined United in 2008 and has been the top scorer in Serie A over the past two seasons with 101 goals in 134 games.

Cristiano Ronaldo has left Juventus to return to Manchester United, according to ESPN sources. The Premier League club announced on Friday a 15 million euro deal that could generate another eight million euros, according to an ESPN statement. Ronaldo and Manchester United have agreed to bring him back to Old Trafford, where he played from 2003 to 2009, the club said. Ronaldo played at Old Trafford for 12 years before leaving the club in 2009 to Real Madrid, where he remained until moving to Juventus in 2018.

With a move and a deal that has shocked world football, Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to Manchester United which has made him a world-famous figure a few days after telling Juventus he no longer wanted to play for them. A statement from Premier League club Manchester United said: "We are pleased to confirm that we have reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, following the terms of personal terms, visas, and medical treatment. Ronaldo's final farewell will take place in Manchester and that statement will not surprise anyone who has heard half of what he wants to go through.

The two-year deal costs € 15m and could cost millions more after Manchester City withdrew from the race to sign Ronaldo to rivals England. Juventus and its rivals Manchester City both had the opportunity to sign Ronaldo and were considering a move to United, but the two withdrew from the talks. The announcement ended a turning point when reports suggested a few hours earlier than Ronaldo was in a position to sign United and rivals Manchester City. Ronaldo has been the World Player of the Year five times.

According to various media reports, it has taken a combination of calls and messages from Sir Alex Ferguson and Bruno Fernandes, a former Manchester United player to persuade Ronaldo to return to the club. Ronaldo has been linked with a move to United's neighbors Manchester City following his disappointment with the Italian side Juventus. Ronaldo had signed for Juventus after losing two Champions League finals four seasons ago.

Ronaldo has scored 118 goals in 292 games over the next six years and became one of the most feared strikers in the world with his first five FIFA World Player of the Year awards. His first spell at Man United was a huge success, winning three league titles and a Champions League trophy. United, however, failed to resist Ronaldo's desire to move to Spain and Real Madrid set a world record of £ 80m in 2009.

A deal with Juventus for the transfer of the famous striker will see Ronaldo, 36, return to Manchester United 12 years after leaving the Premier League for Real Madrid. United, along with Chelsea, has been the top team in the Champions League since Ronaldo left Man City, who have been a huge force ten years ago and won the league five times since 2012. Ronaldo will return to Old Trafford for the first time since United expressed an interest in working with his current club Juventus.

Juventus reached the Champions League final last season without a strong player like Ronaldo, and the change will be better than giving it a year to market the next big striker. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed on Friday that Ronaldo's 118 goals scored 292 points for United between 2003 and 2009 'he knows what it's about. ‘You should love Cristiano to be in my team’ as rumors of a transfer spread throughout the football world.

One of his former bosses, Old Trafford, confirmed on Friday that Cristiano Ronaldo would join Manchester United after leaving Italian giants Juventus on Tuesday after his contract with Manchester United expired on Tuesday. Ronaldo will return to Old Trafford after a 12-year absence from joining his current club Juventus, according to his contract with a doctor.

Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates after scoring his second goal in an international match between Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur on July 21, 2019, at Singapore National Stadium.

Of the three times Ronaldo has been involved, he has scored 81 league goals and made Juventus the worst football team ever. Ronaldo scored 118 goals between 2003 and 2009 in six seasons at Old Trafford and helped the club win three Premier League titles, the Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup, two League Cups, and the FA Cup. Cristiano Ronaldo scored 118 goals in 292 appearances for Manchester United between 2003 and 2009 before leaving the club for Real Madrid where his success took him to a new level of international fame including four Champions League titles.
