The Pale Thorn Pact Part 2
The path narrowed until it became less a trail and more a wound in the mountainside—sharp, narrow, treacherous. Black rock jutted from the snow like jagged ribs, and the cold wasn’t just biting anymore. It pressed into the lungs, gnawed at bone. Elira pulled her scarf tighter across her face, eyes narrowed against the wind.

The Pale Thorn Pact – Part 1
The wind whispered down the mountain pass like it carried secrets. Cold ones. Ones that lingered in your bones long after the snow stopped falling. How to Order a McDonald's Filet-O-Fish for a Consistently Fresh Sandwich
When it comes to seafood, it's always best to buy it fresh. That holds true even in the case of fast food seafood, such as the Filet-o-Fish sandwich from McDonald's, which was initially developed due to the fact that fish is not considered meat during Lent. A warming tray, which McDonald's uses to store a lot of its prepared food, is not something you want to sit on for a long time with fried fish. Fortunately, you can easily request that your Filet-O-Fish sandwich be "cooked to order" or "made fresh" each time. Although some tricks suggest that changing your order, such as ordering it without cheese or tartar sauce, will result in a new sandwich, doing so alters the sandwich's inherent balance. As verified by McDonald's employees on Reddit, there is also no need to do so when you can simply ask for it to be cooked to order. In point of fact, the Filet-O-Fish is one of the many items on the McDonald's menu that can be prepared to order.
