Sai Bhavya from India in 2017. It was written in the 2nd biannual international short story competition which was held in 2017. Summary- The Adventure of Four Friends Story Once there were four friends named Rajesh, Arun, Suraj, and Kiran. On a summer holiday, they were feeling bored and just then Suraj proposed to his other friends to go for an adventurous trip to the forest. Other friends agreed to Suraj’s plan and they went to the forest the next day. Entering the forest they experience the exotic beauty of the forest and suddenly Siraj discovers a big hole near a stone. The four friends jumped into the hole and saw there were six tunnels under the hole. They entered the middle way and went on and on on the dark path. In the dark tunnel, they hooked their torch and ate the food that they brought with them. After the meal, they again started walking and on their way, they suddenly saw a giant-sized monster. Seeing them the monster started to rush toward them. They were scared too much but somehow gathered courage and tricked the giant creature and managed to escape from it. They again started walking and found a beautiful garden. There was a lake on one side of the garden and green mountains on the other side of it. They went to the lake and drank water from it and rested in the garden for some time. They again started walking and entered the deeper forest. They started to fear wild animals in the forest as it became night. But thankfully they were safe during the night. The next morning the four friends again started walking and went deeper into the forest. It became hot in the deep forest. Suddenly they saw a cave and inside the cave, they found a flowing river. They made a boat and went on it by the river. They reached a bigger part of the cave and found a big hole in the ceiling. They climbed up and jumped from the hole. Walking in the forest they found a boy. They asked the boy the name of the village, but the boy was speaking in a different language. But Suraj understood his language and figured out that they were in the western part of the country. Suraj asked for the nearest bus stand, took a bus from there, and reached their house safely. They told their adventurous journey to their other friends and everyone was amazed to hear their story. The purpose of this institute is to provide a haven for independent minds. Welcome to Watch Mojo! Today, we're counting down the most entertaining and influential feature films that had general releases in 2023. We're including features that had festival premieres the previous year but leaving off documentaries. Number 10: "John Wick Chapter 4." John Wick has topped itself with each passing movie, although we can't imagine another sequel surpassing Chapter 4. At just under 3 hours, Chad Stahelski's film throws everything it has at the audience and titular character. Yet, it never feels overstuffed. Each scene is draped in atmospheric cinematography, elegant backdrops, and action that constantly finds new ways to innovate. While we joke about how John is practically invincible, we feel every blow he takes, with each set piece weighing down on him more. By the time we reach the final lap of this breathless marathon, we're legitimately concerned that mortality has finally caught up to him. That mix of realism and over-the-top spectacle has made John Wick an action staple, with Chapter 4 being the franchise's definitive entry. Number 9: "Blackberry." In 2023, we delved into the fascinating backstories of several products, including Air Jordan. Blackberry was the most surprising in more ways than one. Not only were we caught off guard by just how funny Matt Johnson's film can be, but we severely underestimated the impact that Blackberry had on the mobile world. The brand may be defunct, but Glenn Howerton's cutthroat performance as Jim Balsley will stick with you, like the sound of a Blackberry keyboard typing away. Jay Barrell also turns in some of his best work as Mike Lazares, who loses himself in a sea of corporate greed and a reluctance to see the bigger picture. Number 8: "Past Lives." Throughout Seline Song's "Past Lives," the question of how to grieve what you never had is top of mind. Greta Lee delivers a best actress-worthy performance as Nora, a married woman who reunites with her childhood sweetheart. While we empathize with both men in Nora's life, we know there's only one practical way for the story to conclude. No matter how you're hoping for things to turn out, it's impossible not to experience a sense of loss upon arriving at the inevitable resolution. Number 7: "Talk To Me." Premiering in 2022 at the Adelaide Film Festival before a wide release theatrically in 2023, this Australian horror picture hearkens back to W.W. Jacobs' classic short story "The Monkey's Paw." Instead of granting wishes, though, the sinister hand at the forefront of this film is more like a needle. After one hit, it's a slippery slope that can leave you possessed. The allegory might be on the nose, but "Talk To Me" executes its genuinely creepy premise with haunting imagery, utterly convincing performances, and some of the finest practical effects that modern film has to offer.

If you've frequented the cinema lately, you've likely observed Hollywood's tendency to romanticize nearly every profession it depicts. Take archaeology, for instance; very few archaeologists have stumbled upon priceless treasures while raiding tombs. Finding a Harvard professor who globe-trots thwarting ancient secret societies via LinkedIn is highly improbable. Your average hacker is more inclined to be in their parents' basement searching for COD exploits than battling the FBI from a penthouse apartment. Another vocation often misrepresented is that of the assassin. These characters appear so frequently in TV, film, and games that one might assume assassination is a thriving industry and an excellent career choice. From Jason Bourne to Agent 47, from Deadpool to John Wick, the portrayal of assassins has captured the imagination of audiences worldwide. Yet, a glance at job boards reveals a scarcity of assassination opportunities. Nonetheless, humanity remains captivated by the notion of a lethal assassin emerging from the shadows to eliminate unsuspecting targets with precision. Assassination, in various forms, has existed as long as humans have walked the earth. However, the modern archetype of the assassin—a skilled, stealthy killer eliminating influential figures for religious or political motives—can be traced back nearly a millennium to a group known as the Order of Assassins.
