We can smell the sweetness baking in the oven and can taste the sugar in the air - it's holiday cookie season! From Gingerbread to Snickerdoodles and every sugar cookie in between, what is your must-have cookie recipe for the holidays? Just like your remote holiday parties and Zoom gift exchanges, we're hosting a virtual Cookie Swap Party right here on Vocal (how sweet)!

So, to our creators with a sweet tooth and the sugary, cookie-loving connoisseurs: enter the Cookie Swap Challenge and tell us what you're baking this season! Walk us through the recipe and tell us why this is a fan favorite for parties and family get-togethers year after year. Be sure to share the full recipe with us and include photos of your decadent desserts. Roll up your sleeves and grab your oven mitts - let's get to baking!

For your story to be eligible, it must be between 600 and 5,000 words and adhere to our Community Guidelines. Stories published on Vocal and entered into the contest up until December 10, 2020, at 11:59 PM EST will be entered for consideration. Official Rules for the Challenge can be found here.

To be eligible to win the grand prize, second place, or third place prizes, you must be over the age of 13 and residing in a country where Stripe is available at the time of entry. A complete list of countries where Stripe is available can be found here—winners will need to have a Stripe account created and connected in order to receive the prizes. For this reason, entrants located outside of any of these 39 countries will not be eligible to win.
