Set in the town of Bracken Hollow, The Funeral Director follows Harold Graves, a funeral director with the ability to raise the dead. His experiments revolve around obedience, control, and fear. At first, Harold is able to control those he raises from the dead, but soon learns to listen, adjust, and adapt. Before long, the town is gripped with panic and fear.
What I Loved About the Book?
This book had me hooked from page one. I read this thrilling, gripping story in less than two hours because I couldn’t put it down. From the very beginning, the author pulls readers into a world where a funeral director can control the dead. Kevin Lachausse’s writing style makes you feel as though you are right there in the story. The suspense kept me turning pages and wanting more. The book is easy to read and moves at a steady pace.
